Puan Salwa Binti Shamshuddin ("Puan Salwa") began her career with Rasah Kemayan Golf Club as Sports & Recreational Officer in 1998. Subsequently in 1999, she joined Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as Tutor and Research Assistant. She was a Management Trainee in SKF Bearing Industries (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. for a year thereafter. In 2002, she joined Kurnia Insurans Sdn. Bhd., primarily responsible for Corporate Business Development.
Puan Salwa is currently the Director of Jarri Engineering Sdn. Bhd. and Momentum Chocolate Sdn. Bhd., responsible for manufacturing management, finance and product development.
She is also the Executive Director of Omazol Corporation Sdn. Bhd. She has been working closely with Project Managers and Delivery Engineers regarding the constructability, timing, costs and quality of the projects including reviewing operating plans and standards. She is also the Advisor for Omazol Resources Sdn. Bhd.
Puan Salwa also holds the position as a Managing Director in Atiqul Restu Sdn. Bhd. since May 2015.
