I guess next week probably will be a down week, toward 1550 before raya, but who knows, many people also bet brexit fair, but the otherwise happend. as for me, since i have no debt, FD in bank also only 4%+, better to inevst it. Since i can hold for 5 years+, and ready to take it even it fall to 1200, so it is a bargain hunting time for me, but not sure about others.

Well, we have to accept the fact that muslim and malay population is increasing while others are dropping. And malaysia is going to be more islam in future bcos parties politic are going to compete who is more islam than the others to woo for their votes. and syariah compliant is the way of future in msia. Khazanah, PNB, EPF KWAP, Amanah Saham, all are going to be syariah compliant sooner or later. Whether we agree it or not, in term of investment, we must take this into consideration in future.

Opcom has been in my watchlist for quite sometime, one thing worry me is that, mahathir mukhriz is the main holder 49.98% ! next month umno council meeting, he might be sacked, and if mukhriz and mahathir accelerate their attack on najib after sacking, that might affect his company in getting government contracts in future, the biz tycoons also might avoid him to distance themselves from rebellions to avoid offending the government. i still waiting for the umno council meeting before taking any decision on opcom.

Calvintaneng, even buy at high time, if have holding power, still not bad in long run. Since we don't know when is high when is low, consitantly invest , dont use your capital in one shot, use dollar avegaring seems like not a bad idea. Those use high leverage, will die first if market fall, but become suoer rich if market bull, individual taste :D

Last year i bought tekseng at 0.40 only, after reading a report from a research firms. at that time they gave it TP1.20, 300% potential gain. but unfortunately, i sold it long before it reach TP 1.20. you can't take all the cake all the time :D

Icon8, even if you take consider of the share split and bonus share, most of them still way below the price, and most of them are at very low price, what's the point of splitting it at the first place, making already cheap share more cheaper ? something fishy, that's why mutual funds did touch these shares, and research firms also seldom write analysis on them. i actually did invest in some of them, after all, just few cents, losing all also doesn't matter, if it suddenly double or even 5x also not surprise, like before this when CSL and Cap was talking with foreign brand partnership, but eventually failed and shares price drop back to low.

Buy Maxwell 1million shares, RM20k, then nominate and vote yourself into board of director, and you can claim your are in borad of director in a BSKL listed company. Don't worry, 99.99% of the people won't know it is a lousy rubbish company, they only will impress with your title, and get your more credibility and oppurtunities in business dealing.

I also think iskandar will boom in 10, 20 years, i am planing to move to johor iskandar and buy a house there bcos i think the job market will be boom in futiure, good for our next generation, a lot opportunities, as for me, i am semi retired now, doesn't matter.

I was queueing at 1.50 this and last week.

I depend on the research firm given target price, usually there will only give TP one, two day before, or even on the day IPO closed. so, normally i will wait to the last hour to decide subscribe or not, but the chance of hitting for the good share is very low, and 100% hitting rate for the rubbish shares :(

Invets1188, for short term, not long term. Yes, rm1 now, rm1 10 years ago, and gambling tax keep going up, but they still manage to make profit consitently and deliver good dividend so so far. Foreigner workers is back soon, and the old 4d generasion still here for good at least for another decade, short term still have some oppurtunity. No harm using small portion of my winning money for some gambling stock :)
