I bought PBA a month or two ago at 1.00, yesterday it hit 1.20 then end at 1.17. Monday i will sell it at 1.20 with 20% profit and will buy it back when market correction again. And it it keep on falling, imwill add more at 1.00 or 1.05.

Hiu Chee Keong Maybe johnnys really bad luck, like one of my colleague, everyone invest in mutual fund made 10-30% in a yearor two, but she merely break even after a few years. Whatever she invest, she lost money, gold also lost, foreign curency also lost, share also lost.
I invested in Hong Leong mutual fund, when i sold all to pay up my home loan, the bank agent said wow. My mutual fund and my own investment also make money, though not much, but still much better than EFP and ASB.

why need to debunk DCA at the first place ? it didn't lie to anyone, and didn't miss-lead anyone, the concept is simple straight forward. If one miss-understand it and never try to understand it at the first place, then it is not DCA's fault. Since we can't time the market, we don't know when it's going to be up or down, so we put in money regularly. If market keep going down, whether DCA or one lump sum will go to hell anyway. and if market keep going up, both one lump sum and DCA also make money. yes, long term market is going up, but if you put one lump sum and happen to buy gold when it's 1800, how many year you need to just break even ?

Some of my friends asked me why other people make moneys investing in mutual fund but they lost. Then i asked them did they put in money every month or regularly, they said no, they only put in one lump sum once only. No wonder, the power of mutual fund is dollar averaging with regular investing. If you only put in one lump sum, then that's depend on luck, if you happen to invest when the market is low, then you win, but if you happen to invest when market is high, then ....god bless you, :D

I used to visit oldtown quite often, about 3,4 times a week, but now rarely. Nothing special about their food, but price is high. Everytime they revamp the menu, the price is getting higher and higher. but anyway, their white coffe pack still good selling.

Since korean own 30%+ with price at about 1.45, though they won't buy it from you at this price, but it do give some basic support to the share, which i think it won't fall below 0.90 anymore unless the economy is very bad, or something big happen. At the same time, maybe at the current earning, hard to find a local retail buyer to buy any price higher than 1.25 either, unless they want to take it private, or the earning increase by 30%.

It up bcos the news that korean buyer buy at high price way above market price, and it down today bcos the korean buyer said they have no interest to buy the rest of the shares. in this case, i guess the share price is mainly drive by news, not technical.
