Any helpful one here know exactly what is the company's short term investments under fund placement in financial institutions which value has dropped from RM922.15 million in 2015 to about RM794 million now ? With drop in value almost 14 %, are they now forced to become long term investment n hence may affect the company's short term cash flow and will the value likely to drop further or otherwise?

Partially agreed with u darrenliew but noted also even at 1 sen dividend, yield at 4.7% pa is still very acceptable given its present decent low price of RM0.215 as compared with the rights issue price of RM0.21 which was also its 1-year low and NTA of RM0.58 !!!

Panic due to adverse rumors or fact ? If fact eg. company to be suspended and worse still delisted due to whatever adverse reason, likely to be down to almost worthless !!! If adverse rumors, it still drop but unlikely to be down to zero unless it became fact as above due to eg. delisting !!!

Ya, till AGM or EGM held, shareholders especially the small retail ones continue to suffer price losses due to the Culprits still in the company !!!

More LA conversion meant, besides strengthening the balance sheet of the company, also further reduced supply of LA. With less number of LA, the chances of it going up as compare with the shares is even higher now given its attractive interest yields !!!

Teach those culprits a lesson, use financial might by buying up everything and take over the company to kick them out immediately !!!

Star888, u should only compare the premium of Hiaptek WB with Hiaptek LA and not premium of Hiaptek WB with another company, ATTA LA, ie. apple with apple n not apple with orange !!! Note also it is quite normal for warrant & Loanstock (LA) of the same company in Bursa to have substantial premium differences !!!

Those shameful culprits have the time to sue everybody and misuse precious company's funds to protect their own backside as a smokescreen to prevent any shareholders' meeting but yet they claimed they can't have an AGM now despite the audited annual accounts already out many months ago !!!

Any kind people can advise how to obtain a proper & valid format of the Proxy Form to vote on the 12 July's EGM ? TQ

Its time for Bursa/SC to have a blacklist of company's directors/management for protection of investors especially the minority ones !!!

Where the fiduciary duty to shareholders by the Board of Directors of Directors ? No shareholders rights and corporate governance at all !!! These culprits even sue the Share Registrar maybe to prevent shareholders to hold an AGM/EGM asap !!!

Using and hence further wasting company's funds belonging to shareholders to fund questionable legal proceedings to protect the culprits own backsides with a view to further delay coming AGM/EGM !!!

More time for what ? To hide all the skeletons inside the cupboard ??? Just hold the AGM/EGM for the shareholders to decide on the Management and the future direction of the company business !!!
