I am of the view the controlling shareholder is reaping in the dividend as well as accumulating more shares post ex-date.It cud either a positive news or another round of special dividend in the pipeline. In any case, the share price becomes less mkt driven instead few key players are 'massaging' the price......my 2 cts view

I cant agree more that what was stated by oldman1010. It seems that greed is part and parcel of the controlling/major shareholders of LBS. Perhaps they wud think of carrying bags of cash & stocks (oops....now is scriptless) to the next 'world'......wish them happy happy trading....

Stanley Thai is already very rich......why must greed rule his head..... be gentleman & resolve the problem with charisma....walk with head on and stand with pride. Was told he is a devoted person, but why such a devoted person became so greedy instead of sharing some of his good fortune with the less fortunate...now all the reputation built over the years gone into the drain....very embarrassing to him personally & family members for being labelled as corporate crooks......many ikan bilis will curse Stanley Thai for life....

The mgt team & major shareholder(s) are unreliable a lot. I am of the view they purposely dragging their feet to manipulate the market i.e. holding the info until the price is so low for them to accumulate and soon after that release abt the JQ progress where price shoot up. They hv this info which most of retail investors din hv....

The key issue is on the integrity or reliability of the project info that was broadcast by the mgt team cum major shareholder(s) to the investors at large. Wthr the info is real or to corner the regulator(s) and/or investors (mala fide intention).

W of the view the big shareholder(s) & mgt team "cooked' the issue on JQ to push up the price & made good profit out of it. Then, kept dead silence as though the JQ project is facing lots of hurdles which brings some bad light to the local authority, hence pushed down the share price where the main shareholders & mgt team keep accumulating at very low entry costs. After they have accumulated enough, they drum the JQ issue again with the intention to push up the price. This tactic is only used by 'no brainer' that wants to make quick money instead of building up their professional reputation...

Who told the truth here...the Vice Chairman cum Group MD or the two independent directors. Who is trying to shortchange the shareholders in particular the small investors whom are trying to make extra money in view of the escalating cost of living expenses. No worry my investors frens...the truth will prevail and those with 'mala fide' intention will surely get punished for being dishonest only for the sake of accumulating wealth....

Perhaps the Advising FI & the major shareholdres are playing kite....or the small investors go & fly kite....

This is UMNO related counter and plz note that UMNO GE or Convention will take place end of this month. Additionally, heard strong rumuors abt a very big building construction work may be awarded to them....watch closely and be an informed investors by conducting research....

Open sky policy moving fwd, henceforth more airlines expected to taxing at KLIA, Penang, Kuching, KK & Kuantan....more supply of F&B to these airlines via Brahims.....

I wont discount the institutional players are ready to swallow in large blocks in minutes to come. To the company, directors, it is abt reputation to preserve the price closer to RM2 coming next week flwg the bonus.......

The reclassification from shariah to non shariah without giving advances notices by the SC via the BURSA website has caused lots of damaged in particular to retail investors. The mkt capitalisation of the affected companies also suffers but the one that bite the bullet the most are retail investors. Hope the person or dept at the SC adopted a pro active approach to alert retail investors in advance i.e. 3 months then 2 months, a month and finally 2 week on the list of companies yet to adhere to the Shari compliant parameters. Next round of announcement by the SC will cause another chaos if likewise approach is continuing
