Stock split only involved Issued & Paid-Up Share Capital where its no. of shares and amount increases whereas, bonus share will INCREASE Issued & Paid-Up Share Capital and REDUCE distributable reserves. Management is merely distributing free shares to investors rather than thru dividend payout. why not dividend? Ppl tend to use it up readily. why bonus shares instead? it will increase yr net worth if u do it d right way BY NOT SELLING IT OFF!!!

Tina, yes u can sell today. u hv yr existing shares which u can sell without checking. but for d bonus portion, u need to sell thru yr investment bank whereby they hv to manually enter yr order and to sell it as short-seling arrangement. if I were u, why bother to sell now.

dragonslayer, nothing can be sure in tis world. One thing is for sure - with every passing day, we r nearer there than here. To obtain anything in tis world, we need to take action. Early or late nvm, but janji take action lah. In investing, time is of d essence and, by being early or late can make a huge difference at times. And, it can go either way too. A common adage - no risk, no gain. Follow yr feelings and take calculated risks. In my opinion, life is more interesting tis way.

Canic, we shall see wat happens on T+3 if there is still support for this last minute transactions. If indeed it is really buying by foreign investors, then I believe they w b here slightly longer than the speculative buyers. For the moment, just feel good tht tis counter has the substance to attract d foreign investors. I guess Karex's inclusion in d MSCI tracking has also influenced d foreigners to buy into it as well.

@Kim Yap Lau, Cweed, dragonslayer & All, Kim's earlier comment "... the same to yinson, pbbank, tsh and many others" has prompted me to take a closer look at their transaction patterns. My conclusion is: the foreign investors r buying up these counters in a big way during d last 15 mins of trading. Karex is also amongst their choice. Extremely glad to ride along this wave. BUY... I TOTALLY agree w Cweed's strategy to win tis tug-of-war. We all know the current price reversal DOES NOT make any sense and the banks are out to manipulate it. Let me reiterate. Firstly, we must NOT trade contra in tis counter. Secondly, I'm fully confident tis counter is fundamentally STRONG. With these two attributes, all we (Karex investors) need to do is to STRENGTHEN our believe and perseverance. Tis tug-of-war is between us versus the banks. If we investors act in UNITY, eventually the banks will not b able to contain d mother Karex 'bird' any longer and w eventually set it free to fly. I know we CAN do tis together and WIN as a team.

@macik, Note B10 of Page 14 of the Interim Financial Report for 3rd Qtr ended 31 Mar 2014 clearly stated "No dividend was proposed in respect of the current financial period". Where did u read it?
