end of AA glory days?KUALA LUMPUR: US-based fund Wellington Management Company disposed of 15.83 million shares of AirAsia Bhd from Aug 29 to Sept 3.

A filing with Bursa Malaysia on Thursday showed the fund's stake in the low-cost carrier was reduced to 276.59 million shares or 9.95% after the recent disposals.

It sold 4.224 million shares on Aug 29 and 4.913 million shares the next day. It sold 4.793 million units on Sept 2 and 1.906 million shares the following day. It had acquired 6,900 shares on Aug 30.

AirAsia's share price closed between RM2.51 and RM2.56 during that period.

Malindo has cancelled Miri flights in early sept! Customers who bought the tickets during their latest Merdeka promotion will be in for rude shock when its time to fly. Tawau also gone. So impressive...

Cant remember who but someone in Malindo said they get their planes "cheap" from Mother Lion...so I expect them to get their pilots and fuel "cheap" from mommy too.

Don't know much about Malindo but Lion's Bali flights were in chaos on 1st n 2nd Sep due to unknown causes...maybe weather, awol ground staff, shortage of pilots, etc.

AA already sank 20% off its peak this year...sink again? Virgin Australia gone into red for the year, not a pretty sight.
