News clip here...KUALA LUMPUR: Hybrid airline Malindo Air expects to carry more than three million passengers by the end of next year, contributed mainly by its aggressive network expansion plan.

Malindo Airways chief executive officer Chandran Rama Muthy said by the end of 2014, the hybrid carrier will be flying to almost all destinations it has in its plan -- India, China and the Asean countries.

In an interview with Bernama, he said Malindo Air anticipates a fleet of 20 to 22 aircraft by end-2014, including turboprop aircraft to fly to destinations within Peninsular Malaysia.

Whole AA group only has 9.9mil passengers? Malindo aiming for 3 million passengers by end of next year. How come AA growth is so slow? More than 10 years only 9.9mil?

Lion Air is buying more cessna and 1 new 737 sim to expand their Wings Academy. Malindo is flying on schedule and all flights are at least 80%. Maybe no cancellations today.

Schedule change: Malindo Air reserves the right to cancel or change the planned departure, schedule, route, aircraft or stopping places of any flight for which fares have been paid, at any time and from time to time, for any reason, without notice to any Passengers affected thereby and, in connection therewith, the Carrier shall not be liable to any Passenger in respect of such cancellation or change, whether or not resulting from an Event of Force Majeure; provided that, the Carrier may and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to provide any Passengers affected by such cancellation or change with:

(1) Within a reasonable period of time rerouting to the destination shown on the Passenger's Ticket by the Carrier's own services; or

(2) To otherwise refund to such Passenger, an amount which shall not be greater than the fare paid by that Passenger in respect of that flight.

Last time, the mother share of AA dropped to 60 sens after it was issued at Rm1.++. Took some time, but it recovered and soar. As I said, this gonna be xtra long investment...sigh. 60,000 shares, if sold now, would lose broker fees as well.

1 737 can fly how many flights a day? Malindo wanted to the aircrafts to be maximized....on ground 2 hours less than AA daily. So, does that work out to 10 flights daily per aircraft? Seems that employing ex MAS and ex Firefly staff means that they work like they used to in MAS and Firefly....s.l.o.w....s.l.o.w....

Why the shareinvestor showed AAX IPO at Rm1.45 and showed a loss of 13.1% on first day? Does it means IPO buyers bought at Rm1.45 and wont get their 20 sens back?
