To be fair Borsig is involved in a highly competitive boiler & component processing parts manufacturing business. In Europe business is not exactly booming. Due to external conflicts and challenging fiscal factors . This is partly contributed to lack of suitors for the Borsig. Remember KNM bought over the Borsig business for the past decade. Not to mentioned KNM is cash strapped and carries a loan of 2 + billion which need to address immediately. Not an easy rask.

Everything is not so straight forward. Initially, the Borsig price { 2 years back } was agreed at 220Million Euro. But the deal fell thru despite numerous timeline contract extension. Now they mentioned Borsig valuation is worth 300 -320 Million Euro. Without prejudice this may or maynot be termed as asset stripping selling at depressed pricing. Borsig is basically a boiler supply firm , supply of component and processing parts based in Berlin , Germany. KNM bought over the firm in 2008 under Lee Swee Eng { founder of KNM } .it was mentioned in at back in 2021 KNM proposed to sell off Borsig to pay off their debts.Later the ink deal was called off due to certain signed terms not fulfilled
