Agm coming,dividend x date to be announced soon,in order to issue less share for the dividend reinvestment plan,market price must push higher ...so the vol n price start moving upwards.

The x date for this special dividend fall on 21 April 2014,on this date the price will be adjusted.How much it will be adjusted will base on closing price on 20 April 2014. Let us assume closing price on 20 April 2014 is RM5.00,due to the dividend given was RM2.50,thus the adjusted price on 21 April 2014 will be RM5.00 - RM2.50 = RM2.50

Zen,only u yourself can answer this question,it depends on what u want n your investment style...and your strengthen of your fund too n also how confident u are with HDBS management.Ask yourself if u satisfy with current profit,than u can sell it and may switch to other counters,but if u think that u have the confident with the HDBS management,than u may wait to collect the special dividend n see what the management's new direction for the company,hope that i answer your question.

This is not a merging,HDSB sold its investment banking business to Affin, share holders of HDSB will get RM2.50 dividend per unit of the share he/she holds. The name of "Affin-Hwang" will use by Affin bank for two years,after that Affin will decide to continue using"Affin - Huang" or change to other name they want.

ZenZenD,if u bought in yesterday at RM4.05 for one thousand units,n u hold until after the dividend x date,u will get RM2500,thus your holdig cost for the one thousand units will be RM4050 - RM2500 = RM1550.How much the price will be in future must see what business HDBS is going to do,so far HDBS has not made any announcement regarding this,maybe they still searching or on the way of aquire some other business n pending for announcement.

How much will the share price be ? It will depend on the closing share price one day before x date,if the share price on that day is RM5.00,than after price adjustment on the x date will be RM5.00 - RM2.50 = RM2.50.

after price gain for few days, the stock needs some healthy correction,when the adjustment end,the price may hit new high..so please hold tight,when correction or adjustment happen,just close your eyes n very soon it will back to the up trend.

after long waiting,finally it comes.Yes,if u buy in tomorrow n keep until after the x date u will get 2500 ringgit for one thousand units of share.

we invest this company is because of the good prospect of the company not because of the news we heard.

i think 10.00 will be the support,beside stock split n bonus issue,remember the company ever announce RM120 dividend during the latest financial announcement,but the date not confirm yet.n beside these factors, the bright prospect of the company is the main share price support factor,just look at maybank n rhb target prices.We will not know what happen next to the share price,but if u are confident with the company 's growth than u can buy in and hold tight.

as i said last nite,this correction is healthy,the stock price cant gain everyday,UMA will issue by Bursa,so to avoid UMA,we need some correction,but u still need to hold tight during correction,cuz later the price will go higher level.

I believe there must be some members here who invest this counter n stay near agm area,so please attend the agm and ask the management can they announce their merge plan ? and also remind the management please do not kick the merge plan ball to EPF and than EPF kick back the ball to the management,please do not treat us small investors like a fool.

As I am too far away to attend the AGM, anybody here will attend the AGM on 22 Apr 2014 ? Please help to question the management what are they going to do with the sleeping price ? Everyday moving from 2.16 to 2.18...no power at all for such a long period even obtained a very good financial results.Any cooperate exercise such as merge or buying over of other finance institution please implement as soon as possible or at least made some announcements to push the share price moving,please tell the management that time is money,we as small investors need the dividend and capital gain.Tell the management please take care of royal small investors as they promised during last year AGM.

Joel,if u hold 1000 units until after both exercises x date u wil get 3000 units. Clear now ? Ha ! both may confuse ppl,before Bursa allows to buy 100 units,the min qty to buy was 1000 units,we called it 1 lot. After Bursa allows to buy min qty 100 units,we also call it 1 lot ? But normally when ppl talk about 1 lot most ppl will refer to 1000 units,so when u buy online for 1000 units u need to key in 10.

i guess the price when near or come to ex date,may higher than rhb target price,cuz this counter is Sarawak giant, so please look for long term n no harm to keep more.

if u base on RHB today target price,12.20/3 = 4.06,n if u are buying at 10.10 your ave is 3.37,so there is a gap of 0.69 to gain .

explain in this way, if u hold one lot of cmsb now,after stock split will be come two lots and the bonus issue u will get one lot,meaning to say that after the stock split n bonus issue exercise,u will hold 3 lots, price wise if u buy in now at 10.10 for a lot, than after the exercises your ave price will be 3.37

keep this counter for long term,it will be like petdag n petgas which can made your earning double or more than double if u keep for few years,few years back bought petdag 15.00 n petgas 11.00 now the earning double somemore every year issue good dividends, call these golden counters.

redwed,i think before u invest a counter,u will check who is the boss for the company,for cmsb most of the ppl know who is the real boss,he is the person control sarawak, so of course most of the projects over there he sure got share,meaning that the money wouldn't flow out to others,thus this company for sure will have bright future.So do keep on invest in this counter.
