Actually CHATGPT is a searching tool that provide information to the user. Just like google search but in a more human-like interaction way. If it is to implement to customer service line, how will it be? it is like a robot chatbox.
Does it sounds similar to you that we already experience it in many website ? it is a robot chatbox that provide assistance to customer. .Website like airasia and shopee already have this kind of robot chatbox service. So it is not something new to us.
there will still be the needs for direct customer service where consumer like us can talk to real people to handle our inquiry. This is where Scicom provide the services.
So my answer is NO, CHATGPT will not affect scicome business(at least not for now). it is merely a robot chatbox(maybe more smarter).

if you notice it, the dividend announced is first interim dividend instead of final dividend. It means the chances of announcing a final dividend on next QR is high. road to high dividend stock.

this company has come to my attention recently after it announced QR. If the QR is sustainable, which likely can because of JKR project, this stock is in good deal.

Agree, scicom is a dividend stock with slow growth. Even the business is affected by Shopee retrenctment, the current price has factored in. i dont mind if it drops futher down rm1, it would be opportunity to collect n keep.. easily 6-7% dividend.

Hi vivientac, where do you get this information about 7eleven? i am not aware of this, if it is true, then this is a bonus. From the annual report, it mentioned that 95% of the contract was successful renewed with existing customer. At least i could say the chance of maintaining the revenue is high. This means that we can expect a 7% dividend per annum with current price.

My belove Ptrans has break 90sen ! congrats to all shareholder although i sold it at 80sen few months back. hahaha still monitoring and im happy to see this stock keep growing.

Im happily trapped in this stock for 20years as long as the dividend yield is sustaining at 7%. But it wont be possible to stay stagnant if the profit is improving steadily. else it gona be >7% dividend yield.

Agree with Ming. I feel this QR is just acceptable, neither good nor bad. Without the foreign exchange lost 3.5m, it should turn to profitable QR.
It is a good sign to see TSM lost has drop significantly.
RGB rent slot machines to casino and in return, RGB get the share profits. this is how TSM revenue come from.
During covid, TSM suffer a great lost because it need to do maintenance on machine and have no profit sharing from casino.
Now that most country are reopening like pre-covid, TSM will eventually recover and become profitable when more casino are allow to operate.
It may take another 1 or 2 QR. So, patient is the key and ignore noises.

Hi, check in here since recent QR just release. Just my thought, assuming the profit manage to sustain like within Q1 and Q2, at current price 3.42, the conservative estimated dividend yield is 7.4%.
How much potential capital gain?? let's think about it.

just hold for long. It is showing yoy growth at least. Q1 is always the weakest quarter among all in the past 10 years in history. always hovering around 30m revenue is nothing surprise. It just a matter of time for RGB to back to profitable business and we know it. Bonus point is this company is rich with cash on hand.

good evening. here is my humble opinion. It is a new high revenue and profit ! however, the quarter report is not exciting nor disappointing, at least to me since this is quite expected. I would say it is within our investor expectation. Slight disaapointment on the dividend of 0.0075 compare to 0.008 last quarter. it is 0.0005 lesser but not significant though. Thumbs up to the management to keeping the dividend payout at least 30% of the profit. As investor, we should understand that Ptrans is in need of cash to support the bidor station construction. All in all, I am still planning to hold long on this stock as long as the fundamental does not mess up. do you think this thought is fair enough?

Hi Chok, interstate travel open might not be signficant impact to Ptrans , just as Ptrans revenue does not been impacted due to Covid lockdown previously. But JTleong has just pointed out the reason that the QR possibly break new high because there will be PFF. For this coming quarter, as an investor, lets focus on the prospect and business plan are still intact, then it is the best answer to investor.

This is a recovery stock that people dont pay attention too. most of the recovery stock already up, and RGB is still staying low. Will see the upcoming 1-2 quarter whether it return to positive profit or not. RGB is supplying not just to Genting but also Macau, Cambodia and Philiphines. The downside risk is very low, in my opinion

Gearing 2.5 is true, and in the past 5 years record, gearing ratio for GasMalaysia is 2 to 2.5. So it is acceptable. Another reason why this gearing ratio is keeping high is because GasMalaysia almost giving all the profit as dividend. So the gearing ratio is keeping at top. So there is no worry on it. But again, there is always people who like to spread negatives and daily looking at this stock price to get opportunity to buy at lower price.
