limayseng: 6 June 2014 is not the ex-date for bonus/split issues. The date will be after 6 June 2014 so that the bonus shares shall not be entitled for dividends.

"The Board intends to fix the Entitlement Date on a date after 6 June 2014

Bonus Shares shall not be entitled to the Proposed Dividend".

I don't think CMSB can surpass RM11 before the ex-date. It seems that it's momentum is getting weaker and weaker. Quite likely it will be between RM9 and RM10 at ex-date.

EGM on 15 May 2014, based on Hup Seng, the ex-date will be about 6 weeks away, i.e. around 30 June 2014. Quite a bad timing because it is middle of soccer World Cup. Should be quite a low ex-price. Better to accumulate after the ex-date.

Simply. My humble opinion is this CMSB price just went through the roof!! Just last September when I bought it was just RM5.05 per share. It went all the way to RM10.50!! If profit went through the roof that can explain the 100% gain but no! It is plain manipulation. They just announce bonus and split and just push the price to stratosphere just before the announcement. So even at RM7 I believe it is over priced. I sold all and will not look back.

Just sense that something is not right. The global share markets might face huge corrections. They are way too high. The bubble will burst due to over evaluation. Dow Jones might collapse 500 points or more. Even laggards Scable also moves today. This is an end sign to the bull run.

Sumatec made about RM90 million in fourth quarter 2013. It has to make a good profit in the first quarter of 2014. Then only got two quarters of profits for it to apply to be released from PN17 subject to the approval of Bursa Malaysia. So the EGM on 26.03.2014 is a non-event. Thus, still got a long time to wait. Just hope that its price can maintain at around RM0.30. Hopefully by June 2014, Bursa Malaysia will let it exit from PN17.
