Pmaster. They will do Reverse Split not share consolidate. The value of the company is the same with reduce amount of share with higher share price. The amount of share you holding is reduce but not the total value. Future reverse split os good...

From what my understanding is not they don’t want list the E&P. They are facing some listing requiremnt issue at Bursa Malaysia. That’s why if cannot sort it out with Bursa, they need to list it at Australia...

Pmaster. If Sapura list the E&P first, you are right they will get more capital but share price will slide and shareholders loss BIG value. They let the price drop first and collect more share and by the time listing E&P, share price will go up. After price go up, they can do 2nd round ouf right issue if needed...

PNB expected to spend at least RM500 mil alone to subcribe the right. If no good justification, they will not burn more money into Sapura. Looking at PNB agreed to buy out all the right, it could spend more than RM1 bil. Why Sapura willing to sell cheap to PNB? I believe they got side deal whereby PNB will support listing of E&P by buying at higher price..

The more shareholders not subscribe the better. All the right shares will be buy out by PNB thus reduce # of shares in the market. Institution holding for long term not like ikan bilis just wanna sell the right once got it..

Pmaster. You are right the price will stay around 30 cents if Sapura only doing RI to raise cash. Don’t you forget Sapura is going to list the E&P (RM8 billion) to further par down the debt to maximise company value. So it will not hover at 30 cents range.

@Iron. Sapura likely will do reverse split 5-1 or 4-1 in future to reduce amount of shares in the market to goreng again.
