It might be too late to cut loss next tue for those still holding shares. Sharks will absorb shares sold low out of emotional. Over time, share price will depend on fundamental ie earnings and future earnings grow....

For Dayang, price will likely drop about 10% to 15% tue morning opening and will see blood all over... latter shark will buy at low price and price will recover in few days time(if coming quarterly profit not negative surprise). Need not worry too much lah.. This restructuring will have to go thru for long term growth and is expected by the market. With this restructuring plan, Dayang and its subsi debt problems are solved once and for all.

For Perdana, price will likely shoot up

It is a right move to solve debts problem of the subsi for mid to long term growth. However, Dayang share is expected to drop next tue due to emotional behaviour of short term investors and whether to recover quickly depends very much on the quarterly profit announcement next week as well. In mid term, it is positive for the group as it has solved debts problems for its subsi Perdana once and for all. And Perdana has managed to secure many contracts lately from Petronas.

Why no free warrant to make offer more attractive? Hope someone can raise this during coming AGM
The proposal is the way to solve problem of subsidiary ie Perdana to avoid more harmful restructuring that may have as proposed by creditors and bankers. The group will be in stronger footing after this exercise. Is good move for the long term growth of the company

More contracts are expected to be awarded by Petronas in near future, just like Perdana which was awarded contracts by Petronas. Dayang will stand a good chance to secure more contracts from Petronas.

Tomo all O&G counter will recover, maybe strongly as oil price now up 2% and US Stocks jumped a lot . Plus, Perdana just announced awarded of few contracts will be a boost to share price tomorrow.

Overpriced IPO at PE more than 20 for a lousy family controlled company. If not because of price stabaliser banker supporting price, would have dropped to RM 1.

Its subsidiary, Perdana just announced securing contract job. O&G is recovering....

Agreed with Calvin. This stock is fundamentally strong and expect to see earnings growth next quarter. Good time to accumulate and price bottom and due for recovering next week.

Thanks Mr Calvin for sharing here. I made some money from this counter after start selling from RM 1.10 to 1.18. Average price was 75 sen. Miss this morning to buy back at 75 sen due to driving early in the morning. Only managed to accumulate from 87 sen till 92 sen. I believe will recover back to at least RM 1.00. Be greedy when others are fearful.

With World Top 3 hedge fund accumulating Dayang at about 59 million shares, it will be more exciting to watch this stock in coming days. Uncle KYY is right this round again and bought Dayang earlier at much lower price.
