Any one company who becomes target for shortselling simultaneously by huge funds could result in bankruptcy... perfect example is Lehman Brothers during the financial crisis...who was shorted to near bankruptcy... In HY's recent meltdown, it was dangerously exposed to further ruthless shortselling which could've driven the price all the way down to RM1 if any big funds wanted to do so collectively...overpriced counters most vulnerable..next could be some overpriced blue chips like Nestle

End of the day.. short selling is for funds with deep pocket only... Uncle can do it too...but even he won't want to face resistance from the sharks. However Uncle + sharks shortselling together is very scary...bloodbath Part 2 could easily repeat...retail investors with no deep pockets best just not toy with the idea.... invest within your means.

Sharks have been buying since before QR4 from December... According to Morningstar ownership info, after the plunge immediately after QR4 result, many big funds were buyng from 28/2 to March...when price kept diving...so they must have been averaging down since...perhaps averaged price range from 9 to 12 now... do u think they will be happy with 3 to 5 ringgit gain? I think this rally could be fast and furious but could reverse in late May or early June...17 to 22 should be the exit tp to consider...let's see.

Anyone who projects 50 to 70 eps sens for the entire 2018 is full of rubbish.

The media is kinder when they write about HY....KYY and big funds are buying...uptrend just started.... why sell in a hurry.

According to US Morgan Stanley... earnings will be very strong this year...The TRUMPet just have to mellow down and let the DOW focus on the earnings season ahead... the bull run will continue.

The last time KYY said he'll exit with a weak result..he did.. that's true to his words..this time he has given a hint again.. can't blame him if you exit after him....of course he may sell above 18 if TA is still favourable...nobody knows and he's not obliged to tell us.
