News flow also seem to suggest that more big funds will be coming to emerging markets targeting commodity and CYCLICAL stocks among others...so it feels "doomy" now but sunshine will be brighter than ever before in the not so distant future. So like stock god Warren says... if you are invested appropriately, don't look at your portfolio...buy and hold is best strategy.

No point making any buy calls when one is just waiting and waiting for the lowest tp here and there but dare not commit....even if Nestlé hits 88 today, pmetal hits 3 tomorrow... there's always a lower tp to hope and pray for...HY may be below 7 soon but do u dare to buy?? Not until it goes below 6 you'll say right?? This kind of theory fish markets also spreading like plague

It has reached "hopeless" on pessimism scale... any optimism is evaporated for now... the mood in the forum reflects the complete opposite of the euphoria during HY's bull run....so perhaps u-turn upwards is around the corner??!! Let's see.

One wise man here said....If next quarter result disappoint HY will be below 6... if after Q2 to Q4 '18, results continue to disappoint, HY would only be worth RM0.50 . Simple maths... guess many other counters will be worth 0.005??!!

The rally is not confirmed....remember it plunged back down from 10.14...9.02...8.40..7.80..the rebound and uptrend is not only sure thing till it crosses 10.

Time to reconsider dear friends.

price: 3.90RM.... check out their quarterly eps...but take note of their dividend payout...wow...HY beats them in eps term many x but their dividend is so generous.

The upcoming AGM... appreciate those who attend to ask as many questions as possible and share in this forum...better to hear from horses' mouth and gather clues and info there.

Avoid the urge to sell just yet at least...as MorningStar reveals that institutions and mutual funds are buying more than selling. Seek more info elsewhere...the many naysayers here are providing more fear than clarity.

Lastly, even if HY reports 30 to 50 eps sens every quarter, the total eps per year is still much better than some stocks who earn much lesser but whose stock price is above RM10, even RM20....does HY deserve to be at current price or lower??

Qr1'18 could be marginally better than QR4 '17 or thereabout minus Capex and taxes...the 2 factors that contributed to lesser profits last quarter....hope FutureEye and Davidlim will share their analysis again...Probability is constantly trying to reassure us with articles. Fake news law, if passed will stop the media from writing biased articles and half truths which are instrumental in driving a stock up or down...it happened to HY and many other stocks from time to time...The American investors/ traders are sensitive and emotional... they can cheer at a piece of good news one day with 400 500 600 points gain or they could panic and send the index 1000 points down... best part, they seem to think that certain issues will only affect them one day and not another....good example will be the recent trade war fear....now is about Facebook and other social media... the world market tracking this crazy and irrational DOW is a double edged sword... now it is disembowelling the ikan billis.... what we see now is the fear factor game... if u believe u sell, if u don't believe, they will throw more smoke screen at u...the punters are the ones who get burnt most when sharks are accumulating....u made a small profit one day.... jump back in soon after u sold... and the sharks send it lower...if u punted bigger, u will be shivering now wondering if HY will break 7 this week...good luck... best not gamble...invest within your own means.

Many may still remember that in the final couple of trading days in December, during the closing stages of the window dressing period, HY price spiked up by more than a dollar each day to touch 19.20... this means that a mix of retail investors and sharks are trapped at that high price. Many naysayers are laughing at the demise of HY. Keep shouting it will dive endlessly....so, in your wisdom, what price will HY eventually u turn at?? Please give a tp so that many can still cut win or cut loss on Monday...
