Its not abnormal for the price to be where it is now.
Vaccine is delayed.
Local covid was increasing past couple of weeks.

If you compare with banking stocks ala MBB/PBB in April, the price of Genting is still relatively okay.

If you can understand Chinese, go dig videos on how China tackled the covid situation.
Its very touching and at times inhumane how they dealt with it.
End result was good, they now have zero case (or almost zero if you doubt their numbers)

To be fair, there's still some downsides.
We don't expect full MCO to swing in, which could happen if the situation gets much worse.

If indeed today's uptick is due to Remdesivir, it shows a cure will not move this stock much.

That said, having a cure is better than no cure.
The bigger ramification is it will remind everyone about vaccine introduction, be it this year or next.

Regarding gloves, the new businesses going in isn't wrong.
Even before Covid, gloves were making good margin, just not superb.
After Covid, ppl come to think that new viruses will come up in future, and support the biz.

However, for companies already in the play, their prices are already hyped.
