If I am not mistaken AIA is also a nominee for all those margin traders. The big sell by AIA is just a result of force sell for all the traders who are force to sell because of margin call.

khpwwl - CBB transferred shares in his own personal name to an Institution that he use for margin trading. As the share price drop there is a margin call. He either cut loss & sell or top up with more cash or shares to the institution to be held under his name to cover the margin call. At the end of the day it is still his, indirectly through a nominee.

IMHO I believe the financing is not a problem. The announcement will come in due course. It should at least retrace by 30% from the low of today maybe far short of it's high of $3.24. Today's low is already below the the low of Dec 2014. Next low could be $0.77 of Aug 2013, which I do not believe will happen. Please do your own research.

Good strategy of shaking the tree to drop off those loose monkeys. A big drop of 10% after a long unimpressive price movement will certainly panic some of those hangers. Best time to get on.

If you want to start a new venture you start of with a business plan. well basic cost benefit analysis to see if you can make a profit & then present it to your banker for a loan to partly finance it. GoodCompanies. I get your point, thank you. My argument is do what you are suppose to be good at right first before getting your fingers into other pies. Diversification is a big operation, eg people power, knowledge, money as well as know-how. If we are making money the logical step is to reinvest any left over from dividends back into replanting instead of jumping into a new new venture with no proper cost/benefit analysis of such a venture which could in fact be a further drain of our limited cash reserves. How much do they think these tourist venture can generate in cash? If we have huge land available then they should be replanted so as to enable us to generate a continuous flow of income into the future as the yield of the older trees decreases. My basic argument is get what you are good at first right before venturing into other business which you know nothing about and untested in the market place. That is the problem with political appointments.

The order gets placed whenever it gets close. It's not there now. Was there yesterday as a buyer before cancelling it, & there before lunch as a seller today but has since pulled the order. Not sure what is going on.

Not sure if this budget is going to spike the share price on Monday. Most of these spending were already released to the market before Zac was told to take a leave and were already taken into account in the current share price. ONLY POSITIVE and satisfying solution is for EPF to now move in. I think the $5,000 for Felder settlers will most likely be enough. After all their holding in shares are not extremely high & the cash will more than likely compensate their loss. CASH IS KING. Ajib will do another round next year to help them, if they keep whinging. In the meantime if you all are looking for greater than $2.50 (me included) then I think it is going to be a long wait. At least after GE14.
