And that is just 3rd batch of investment. What about 1st batch @1.30, 2nd batch @0.80, all million shares bought each tranche?
Then later shd declare with Bursa if bought more than 5% shareholdings.

3 cents made 100k, means qty bought = 3.3mil shares, very deep pocket. Salute!

I help to pan other scenarios if the price drops to 0.60 (claimed average price 0.65) and 0.50 (claimed average price 0.55).
1. @0.60, further investment = 29X of initial capital to bring down ave to 0.65. This means leverage 15.4+29 = 44.4 times his capital
2. @0.50, further investment = 93X of initial capital to bring down ave to 0.55. Means leverage 137.4 times his capital
Lol, lets see what story will be cooked if the above scenarios really happen. He may have to setup a private equity fund to further average down the price.

A close scrutiny:
1. 1st tranche 1.07, assuming qty = X
2. 2nd tranche (fully on margin) @0.845, claimed average price 0.94, this means the invested qty = 1.4X
3. 3rd tranche (relatives' funds) @ 0.705, claimed the average has been brought down to 0.74. This means the invested qty = 14X.
Assuming his initial capital = 1mil and fully bought 5218 @1.07. His 2nd tranche purchase @0.845 (margin) has to be 1.4mil to bring down the average price to 0.94. 3rd tranche @0.705(relatives' funds) has to be 14mil to lower the average price to 0.74.
He is a real prodigy, managed to pool in 16.4mil (own capital 1mil + margin 1.4mil + relative 14mil) and managed to bring down average price to 0.74!
Would u believe a real trader would risk so much (leverage 15.4 times of his own capital) on a downtrending stock! A further drop of 6% from current level would wipe out all his capital to compensate margin + relatives funds.

Shareview123, one may keep averaging down when the stock goes lower on the condition that every purchase employs a mere 5%~10% of his/her capital. By the time the stock reaches bottom, the average purchased price maybe not too far from the base.
But someone here has utilized all his capital in 1st tranche of purchase, 2nd tranche on margin, 3rd tranche on relatives capital.... What if the stock keeps going down? Surely he will face margin calls, relatives' pressure, etc and end up will be having sleepless nights and under tremendous pressure. Being a so-called seasoned trader, is this a correct way of investing? Furthermore his initial target was just to make a few cents quick gains but end up losing 20++~30++ cents, from short term trading to become long term investor.... I doubt he is qualified as either a trader nor an investor.

Newbie1111, I concur with ur explanation. The big boys behind the scene are still unloading the shares. They are not in a hurry to buy back and they will only buy back after the price is at very low for quite a time. The bottoming process may take quite sometime before next uptrend begins. We as retailers can withstand this sort of torture?

JCWT, good observation, it means positive development in crude oil doesn't correlate with the stock price. Something is very wrong with the counter.

Who would believe that SKpetro (being a taikor in O&G industry) would drop from RM5 to current level. Can u imagine if someone (who is a firm believer that this is a taikor) keeps averaging from 5, 4, 3, 2, till now?

Lehman was 1 of top 5 investment banks in Wall Street back then. It owned hundreds of billion of assets and no one would have imagined it would declare bankruptcy, but reality is.....?

A seasoned investor will not keep averaging down a down-trending and losing position. How do u know it has reached bottom? Take an example Lehman Bro which was traded close to USD100 during its prime time, only to see it being delisted @USD0.03.

All kinds of technical indicators are not applicable in this stock. The ppl behind the scene is much more expert in creating and violating the technical indicators. That's the reason most of the traders are caught when they try to bottom fishing.

Kakahi, I have a companion in you. I bought @1.08 on the day of result announcement and 2nd day @0.875, in total 500k units. End up chopped @0.825. A cool 80k fortune gone. I am feeling relief now. Had I held on to it, the loss would have been magnified.......

The scarier part is that the drop is in slow sliding mode. This means the bottom is far from reach.
Had the drop been in accelerated mode, then probably the bottom is reachable soon.
Good luck to those defying odds(go against the trend).

Pls think again why ur buy queue easily gets filled? Some of u queued from 0.80+- till current level and all got matched. If the stock is to commence rebounding, ur buy queue will not be easily matched! Something very wrong with this counter, pls exercise extra caution.

It seems many are still "hopeful" for a rebound. As long as hopefulness element is still there, the rebound would not happen so soon. A real rebound will happen after capitulation or everyone gives up their hope.
If ever there was any rebound in coming days, it will be at best a minor rebound in a down-trending channel. Small rebound will lead to more slide in price.
This game is being played by a team of very sophisticated and skillful syndicate where retailers are of no match to them.
2017-12-14 12:26 | Report Abuse
When everyone (especially retailers) anticipates a rebound and builds some position into it but it did not materialize, instead the price goes lower, it means selling force from big big funds is not done yet. It may trigger a fresh round of selling and the retailers maybe forced to cut loss.....
The down-trending process will last till retailers give up their hope then only a real rebound will ensue. Good luck to those keep averaging down.

KYY has made a courageous step (openly seeking forgiveness) and we as outsiders should not pursue this issue any further. This round I take my hat off to uncle KYY.

KYY is totally K-Oed. He talked without facts and data, simply plug raw figure from the sky, worse still accuse KC baseless, utter harsh remarks and belittle him. It is a bully and I think he owe KC an apology.

Dolly, I agree that name calling and cursing is bad and should not be uttered at your opposite camp no matter how. We should talk politely and give respect to all differences in opinions. The objective of this forum is to promote healthy discussion and not vice versa.
As such I urge everyone pls do not use abusive wordings, it will only cause displeasure and disrespectful to the targeted one and to other viewers as well.

I am a silent reader and seldom speak in this forum. Of late I notice someone who has a different set of stock valuation (DCF, etc...) compared with the valuation method by Dudu (seasoned investor with in-depth study, delve into subject being studied meticulously), both engage in the word of war and the more recent one the disagreement has escalated to name calling and cursing.
Firstly I admit that I have been a keen follower of Dudu in the Investalk for past 2 years and I still am. Dudu doesn't know me as I am his silent reader. I have been keeping track of his stock analysis and his great stock pick. To date I have benefited a lot out of his FOC and open sharing.
There is no reason he has been able to garner so much supports (quote Someone's word : GOD) if not for his past great analysis that benefits his keen followers, including myself.
My advice for "Someone" is do not misconstrue people's good deeds as evil intention who wants to exploit his followers by promoting hardly and dump when the stock price appreciates. If the stock itself does not have the basic ingredients and fundamental do u think it will move despite hard promotion? Besides that, would people still in faith for him after a long period if he practices promote and dump tactic? See what happens to Dali who was once a great promoter but after people gets cheated, all abandoned him because he has exploited many of his followers.
Lastly I hope no more name calling, try to be open minded and learn "agree to disagree", maybe we can be more successful in our stock investing endeavors.

Again, I want to stress that I am not Dudu's ball licker but have been tracking closely all his calls and I shd say I have made handsomely from most of his calls.
Instead of feeling intimidated / unsecured, why don't u browse through all his investalks posting to witness or verify for yourself his quality works. U may learn the skills and improve on your own analysis.
2016-10-11 07:34 | Report Abuse
U may feel unsecured / provoked /agitated for his ability to come out with a much in-depth and well written analysis at no charge to all viewers. Unlike someone who charges rm250 for a moderate or superficial study, Dudu is 100 miles ahead in terms of analyzing skills and efforts put in.
Please visit investalks and go to Dudu's editorial page, read for yourself how much he has written, how in-depth and detail study being made to each stock being scrutinized and analyzed.
Do not simply accuse ppl creating multi-id and doing self-praise.
