Good set of result, Impairment should be done. The dividend is surprise as normallyl should be on 1st Q, so I wonder whether its going to be two dividend for the coming FY.Its still profitable and more project commissioning. Continue holding.

Dude, education is overpriced but not a scam to face. Demand is us so become overpriced. Education is a tool, its up to us how to use it, it can lie there doing nothing or initiate it doing something. Without us realising there is a significant development due to education received by students, their energy that is channeled for creating of value once in workforce. Yes, none us all, but understanding the complexity of a topic and train the mind of the students and prepare them.

Dude, if follow your method learn about doing taxes, and learn finance only then the richest person in the world would be accountants, or someone with some financial degree. That is not the case in reality. Its about passion, some people just love to do investment because they can tolerate higher risk, I have seen some people will never do stock investment because they hate risks and concentrate doing day job and retire at 60. They just like doing it. So, not streamlined to lecturers, its about preferences and risks.

Reading trading books is not about finding sure win model, its about creating behaviour and attitude for trading and investment. In life, certain things,we should self-learning

Yes, LBAlum is downstream player, not worried about the sales revenue. It will be above average. The stock price is still undervalued, basically by beating last Q report, the PE should be re-rated.

The finished good product price will be higher when raw material price increase and once manufactured to value added product it will be marked higher. The problem is only when aluminum price is dropping.

In commodities processing business the profit moves in tandem with commodity price . Only the business that use those raw material to manufacture the other value added product would be affected like car manufacturer.

I think the vision of company and getting the whole corporation to work towards that objective can overtake all those financial ratios. That is business, how to translate those visions to numbers , yes you can but how many can believe that those numbers is achievable or not. It's creating a perception it's achievable and get them achieve that.

For the investing part of depreciation, it all depends on the type of company. If you are looking at a rapid tech company where assets lose most of the value within the first year, needs to be replaced regularly, and costs a lot to maintain, the accelerated method is the right choice.
If you come across a company where the depreciable life of the assets is extended or the useful life is much too long, watch out.

From the point above we know that it depends on many factors that effects D&A, level of maintenance needed , availability of parts , availability of vendor to support and productivity. Most of the the time the depreciation is calculated at the first phase when investing on the machinery/equipment and never been revised after that .
