The profit reported by Jaks, I dont thinks it from revenue generated from power generation. Its just flow back commission and its just a fraction of what was agreed during the initial stage.

What is certain, This power plant is facing many issues. Money, regulatory, profit etc

If receivables are solely generated from Vietnam, it reinforces the data that they are facing issues there.

Best is the management comes clean on Vietnam power agreement. There are never any disclosures

A quick check with industry players, this should not even happen. Its the basic operations of a plant. Never should have continuous breakdown. Means a bigger issue is not disclosed.

No wonder Jaks cannot received the retained money (receivables) for JHDP project. Jaks contracted conveyor belt transporting system is often broken.

At the meeting, Chairman of Quang Thanh Commune People's Committee Luu Huu Nhan reported: Because the conveyor belt transporting ash and slag from the thermal power plant to the gathering yard is often broken, the plant has transported it by public road and has discovered generates dust, causing environmental pollution.

"The dust is because the road has a steep slope. Going there, the car generated dust and people reported that many times they went out to block the car from moving. The government has mobilized and propagated for the people to understand so as not to lose security and order," Mr. Nhan said.

After listening to reports from relevant units, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban concluded:

It is required that from 0:6 on September 9, Jaks Hai Duong Electric Power must immediately stop transferring ash and slag waste out of the factory by both road and waterway.

Temporary pause until the enterprise overcomes the environmental pollution situation when transferring ash and slag waste from the factory to outside.

Cant say much about projects and where the money went for Jaks.. just started analyzing the company. Bit by bit... but eventually much more will be uncovered.

One interesting fact for today.. CEO pay. Not easy to find a debt stricken company that pays its CEO so well.. So well above market

Found out that Jaks CEO annual compensation is through the roof. Not normal.

Comparison of CEO annual remuneration. ( compared to fellow competitors and thrown in Petdag as a yardstick)

KKB - Mr. Pok Tong Kho - RM899,000

Is is extremely hard for Jaks to pay any dividend. They are relying on external funding or funds not generated from operations to keep running.
