guys, this is a put option. Meaning, the underlying (mother share) price has to drop below the exercise price to make money. Exercise price here is 5 rm.
The multiplier (ratio) is 20. So if supermax goes down to 1 rm (whats the possibility), the payout of this put is only 20 sen. Ie (5rm - 1rm) divided by 20.

If supermax is above 5rm, zero payout.

Comfort's performance is actually fantastic.

OLH really should just split out the RHB holdings out into a investment firm, and put the rest into another firm or two based on their actual industry. This way much easier to show the true value.

all OSK need to do is to continue to pay consistent dividend and maybe increase the dividend to 6 or 7 sen per year.... and the 6 to 7 sen dividend pretty much can just come from RHB's dividend holding.

with banks being held by the likes of khazanah and epf, dividend will be maintained. where else to get positive cashflow?

cannot blame OSK for not extending the warrants, as the contract state clearly the expiration date. This covid19 and economic slowdown is definitely not the fault of anyone in Malaysia.

plus in malaysia, where electricity rate is so cheap, it is hard to see how solar power generation can be profitable without incentive from government.

It should be if the mother share/stock price is at or below the Exercise price of the warrant, then no conversion. Premium does not come into play

OSKVI is smallish a firm vs OSK, so can understand why it has risen faster. Still begs the question of what is in OLH's mind.

OSK is super profitable with assets to back it up. Hopefully OLH does something positive about it, like a spin off or divest part of the assets to realize the asset's worth

i just hope OLH continue to mop up the excess shares from the market. i take it as a good sign that OLH realized that the funds in OSK can be better used vs keeping it in money market instruments, and in same time giving chance to small time investors to realize their investments if they choose to. At least OSK price is now at 1.03 vs 0.93 a week ago

light market is good for OLH to continue share buyback. Wish those value investors will notice this share and help it realize its potential. PE of 5 is crazy for such a stable stock.

i really doubt this stock buyback is going to drain OSK's cash position much. 3.++ million ringgit vs just the latest dividend from RHB of around 50 million ringgit. nonetheless, in terms of "bang for bucks", share buyback provides a much better value proposition vs dividend.
