Insider trade? The story can be break into 3 parts.

Part 1: HS Plant was listed on 16 Jul 2007. IPO offer price was RM2.65. Main shareholders appeared in 2008 annual report were Hap Seng (412,413,000, 51.5%), Innoprise (119,978,000, 14.9%) & Lembaga Tabung Haji (23,672,500 2.9%).

Part 2: Over the years, Lembaga Tabung Haji accumulated HS Plant shares in the open market & increased its stake to 8.2% (66,074,500 shares). In Feb 2020, Lembaga Tabung Haji assets was transferred to Urusharta Jamaah under MOF. A cross deal was done on Jun 2020 & Hap Seng acquired the whole block.

Part 3: In Aug 2021, another cross deal was done on the Innoprise block (119,978,000, 14.9%).

On 27 Oct 2005, MHC Plantations Bhd emerged as the substantial shareholder. Over the years the company has increased the shareholding from 32.02% to 38.50%.

SwkPlnt: IPO price RM3.00, listed on 28/Aug 2007.

Hap Seng Plant has a very interesting shareholder structure. A check on 2020 annual report & recent Bursa announcements showed that Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad holds 74.89% of the shares, EPF portion is 7.69% as of 22 Feb 2022. The most celebrated shareholder is the 14th largest shareholder, Mr. Fong Siling who holds 1,000,000 shares.

The amount of shares hold by Urusharta Jamaah is 18,791,400 shares. As per last Tuesday (22/Feb), it has disposed 20% (3,748,500) of the shares. The average daily disposal in the past 7 days is around 400,000 shares per day. Deducting the 3 days (23/Feb ~ 25/Feb) pending announcement, it will need another 34 trading days to clear all. By calculation, this is around middle of April 2022. So just be patience.

Need to be patient. Wait till Urusharta Jemaah (Tabung Haji assets under MOF) completed their disposal.
