I bought at 0.075 and camp since beginning of July.
Compare to buy overvalue and people are too optimistic stocks,

But if you need extra money to pay college fees, i suggest you not to invest it.

I have been reading lot of articles and learnt a lot from this forum.
I choose to remain silence most of the time, as i prefer to learn from the best and ignore the useless articles and comments.
But seriously, your points are so weak!!!!

The impact has not been significant, even it is, Airasia stands a very competitive position and having solid market shares. I believe their business model of maximizing profit with their current database such as cross-selling insurance, hotel, team up expedia on offering travel packages etc.

Inside is selling? LOL, you are not aware or forgotten which Tony and his gang just invested another 1bil+ to the business. Compared to what you try to bring up insider is running out, this is totally misleading.

Crude oil is being traded at 100USD+ last time, 50 USD is still way too cheap for them to gain big profit from there!

This is the only point i agree which i did not touch airline stocks until the recent buy of airasia, aax, aax-wa. I bought based on their growth of profits.

Airasia has gone down to 75 cents, how people have caught at that price?
it's not about 100% increment is near to 300% after it hits the lowest price.
So? As long as it's profit, EPS can be higher and sustainable.

However, negative article like this serve a notice to the newbies not to chase too high.

Do your own analysis, analyze their EPS, and decide the value of the share.
Don't just listen blindly. People who want to comment, give constructive comments.

dehouse11 Jeffyap, you can't expect a drop of 7% for this wave. This is max within few % like 3-5%. Just leave it there. Don't bother to go in and out. Go and get a nice cup of coffee and watch the show. Too busy will lose the fun of life.

I will not take risk when i am not sure how much impact the increment of charges will impact the company. For me myself, 1.5 to 1.97 is a good profit to me.

If it rally to 2, i will not regret on my decision as i can sleep, work well without worries. and buy at slightly higher price after the clarification.

If it going to impact the earning a lot, i m sure the price will drop dramatically, as Malaysian investors are always over-reacted. I will have more than enough capital to pick it up when the sell down come.

I did this many times to different shares, Tguan, Pmetal, Airasia.

I sold Pmetal when their factory caught fire and need to stop 1-2 months operation at 2.4, after awhile it drop to 1.7.

I collected at 1.85, now it's 2.65.

I only take reasonable, full clarified risk, after some estimation done by myself.

I am not asking anyone to follow my investing style, but after making losses of some money much earlier buying the lesson.

I found this way was more securing and more profit can be secured.

Yes, people who are rigid and not willing to act accordingly will bear with the consequences themself, and miss out profit taking.

Wanna make make more profit, make sure you know the impact of the news.
When the report came out about how it will impact the company, you can decide to collect again or not.
There is always a chance to absorb more and lower price, invest wisely.

U don't have to rush in to buy today, observe and find out the reasonable entry price.

I did few transactions on AA.
85sens to 1.3. (Oversell situation)- although i did not manage to catch at 78sens.
then 1.5 to 1.97. (Momentum)

I will wait the clarification and clearly know about the impact first before i proceed to buy back at low.

i already told and advise what i could.
The selldown is gonna happen, just now while there is a buying queue 1.5mil at 1.95.
Someone/Instituition sold big chunk of it, straight to 1.94. I think in a second someone sold about 3million shares.
