In fact, Gpacket made money last quarter, just that the finance cost 4 million made it looked like it made losses. Do note that the finance cost does not need cash payment. For the time being, e-services still need time to see profit, and founder, Mr Puan himself is optimist that more revenue from IOT will start to come in coming quarters. I've met him in person.

According to last quarter report (4th quarter 2016), section 15. Performance Review, fair value gain is RM112.7 million compared to 4th quarter 2015 RM56.1 million. It's not a huge variance which has lowered the PE. So the increase in profit before tax is mainly due to the change in sales and % of completion on the existing on-going projects of the Group as well. Please read qr before making statements that might mislead others.

In September 2016 quarter, Cold Rolled Coil division generated RM8.13 mil PBT. However, in December 2016 quarter, PBT dropped to RM1.83 mil only.



Steel Tube division reported PBT of RM5.3 mil in September 2016 quarter. In December 2016 quarter, the PBT was RM10.6 mil.

Can you please point out where to get the PBT 1.83mil for December CRC and 10.6mil for steel tube? It doesnt match with the crop out of the December QR

Usually i will take cash and cash equivalents - total borrowings to figure out whether a company is net cash or not. Is this sufficient?

how do you come out with the net cash thing? As I couldnt find the cash figure as stated in your analysis from the annual reports. TQ.

It's like a game of confidence and comfort, if we believe it will do better in the coming quarters, just hold, but if we are not comfortable with holding a stock and see the pricing falling, then take profit if available, or cut loss. Just my opinion.
