WASHINGTON (July 25): The Federal Reserve will probably have to inflict much more pain on the economy to get inflation under control.

Growth is already slowing in response to the Fed’s repeated interest rate increases, with the housing market softening, technology companies curbing hiring and unemployment claims edging up.

Fair advice for Investors to stay away. Swing traders can trade to make a few cents among themselves.

Not worth to bet against the macro economic environment. Never bet against Fed. Cyclical stock like commodities including crude oil are always the big losers . Don’t believe? Check the history

We are sailing into very stormy sea. It will likely revisit 30-40 sen price in near future when the global economy troubles deepened. No where to hide amid record interest hike and QT. Capital flight and nervousness will swamp the market.

The promoters must ask themselves why Q1 2022 results so bad despite average Brent price at $101 ?

PBT was RM330 mil which is inclusive of RM317 mil negative goodwill on consolidation of Repsol. If you exclude it, PBT Q1 2022 for operations was merely RM13 mil ( RM330-317 mil) !!!!
PAT operationally excluding the goodwill on consolidation is a loss of $10 mil!
Repsol SA purchase was completed on 24/1/2022. More than 2 months of repsol's results was consolidated in the QR!

Promoters pls give explanation lah …
