Crude oil average price for Q1 2022 was about USD101.
PBT was RM330 mil which is inclusive of RM317 mil negative goodwill on consolidation of Repsol. If you exclude it, PBT Q1 2022 was merely RM13 mil ( RM330-317 mil) !!!!
Repsol SA purchase was completed on 24/1/2022. As such a large part of repsol's results was consolidated in the QR!
Go to read the QR as at 31/3/2022 !
If the Q1 2022 results on the back of crude price at USD101 is so poor what make you think coming qtr or future qtr will be fantastic ?
