Telia sold Nepal company, not Telenor。Telia is not Telenor. Do your home work first.

Yes, U are right. Sorri for the confusion.
I standby my statement that Digi has little or no social corporate responsibility.
It happened years back when they started upgrading their entire network.
I called the person in charge to complain that I am not able to receive calls n sms for almost ONE month. But the moment, I go to the shoplots not far from my house, everything was fine.
Their person in charge started to ask me abt the model n year of my mobile. I cut him short n told him I have bought a new SIm card from U Mobile n it is working fine. Finally he admitted that the upgrading in my area is not complete.
BUT their bill kept coming. I am expected to pay their full bill notwithstanding that the problem is theirs.

The golden days of telcos are already long gone. With huge debt, litte or no growth, stiff competition ... which investor will want it ? If the funds push them, they will be left holding the baby with no follow thru support.

"Oil price going back on down trend, even after the opec decreases production even after Trump pressuring on Venezuela n iran..... we can almost sure oil price will not exceedingly usd80 in recent yrs already!"

I agree. According to China's state-backed Science and Technology Daily, Chinese scientists plan to build and launch small power stations into the stratosphere between 2021 and 2025, upgrading to a megawatt-level station in 2030 and a gigawatt-level facility high above the earth before 2050.

Probably oil price will remain low in the future. Like Zaki Yamani said "the stone age ended not for the want of stones n the oil age will end long before the world runs out of oil".

I don't believe these analyst. They act as though they have insider info.

First, the glove sector uses the most gas n they are paying for the gas way above international price of gas. Gas price is going to come down locally. It means their cost would also go down in the coming months.

Second, the exchange rate advantage that is happening.

The KLCI has probably peaked. No markets go up n up forever without a meaningful correction.
PH came into the picture amidst this correction.

If the previous administration is that good, where are our Tencent ? Alibaba ? Jibby's greatest achievement is raising spectrum fees which saw the value of the entire telco sector dropped. Telcos now will have resort to huge borrowings to finance 5G.

In the past, the gomen funds manage to stabilize the market by shoring up the telcos. Now this advantage is long gone n this explain why the market is so volatile.

Gas price is poised to go down. The price of gas factories are paying now is way above the international price.
When price of gas goes down, the first beneficiary is the glove sector.

BN is of course skillful. Funds were transferred to tax havens n then back to M'sia in the name of investment. So, it became foreign funds.
Instead of just investing directly to shore up the economy, it choose the tax haven way. We now know what happened.

U can run mighty budget deficits to create a bull run but, do we have the means? In the end, the huge debt will bring misery to us. Keynes proposed to run deficits during recessions n surplus during boom. But we kept running deficits during boom times.

Our shares are not cheap compared to other SEA markets. Our economy depended on crude oil for the past decades. Now, the heyday of oil is probably over. It is in the news that PRC will launch its solar station between 2021 to 2025. Solar energy beamed back to Earth will lit millions of rural homes without burning fossil fuels. Demand for crude oil will probably fall.
Palm oil used to be our golden crop until EU decided to ban our palm oil. Corporate results for most our listed companies contracted during the recent quarter.
What is the catalyst that will drive our market up n up ??

"Nothing destroyed the wealth of the nation as fast as a Kleptocratic government and I am Nothing destroyed the wealth of the nation as fast as a Kleptocratic government and I am glad that we manage to get rid of one in GE14. ."

People does not know what it is like when a nation goes bankrupt. My friend, a businessman, went to Greece n told me what he saw.
Almost 10 years have passed since sub-prime crisis.
Buildings that were burnt down have not been rebuilt. A big shopping complex with a beautiful glass facade is empty. Trees have grown inside the complex. GST is 40%. When the waiter puts food on yr table, U have to place the receipt beside yr meal n 15 minutes later tax inspectors would inspect every receipt to ensure GST is paid. The only sector that keeps the country going is tourism. Most of the males have left home to neighbouring countries like Germany to work. The women are left behind.

That businessman told me that he was "glad that we manage to get rid of one in GE14."

"The US finally threw in the towel in Vietnam in April 1975, withdrawing its last personnel from Saigon, and later from Phnom Penh; this left Thailand high and dry and facing three hostile communist neighbours, a communist insurgency of its own simmering in the countryside, and communist China looming large to the north."

The West has its bag of tricks. When their companies cannot compete with others, they use a variety of tricks e.g. palm oil is harmful to health n environment, our gloves have pin holes, Huawei gear has spy gear, ......

All oils are harmful if cooking goes above a certain temperature no matter it is canola oil, corn oil .... but palm oil can withstand higher temperature.

All telecommunication gear could potentially have spy ware issue including those made in USA n western countries .. if not how did the NSA do spying as revealed by Snowden?

Expected GenM EPS 10 cents in 2019.
GenM 1.5 per share is PE 15.
GenM 2.0 per share is PE 20.
GenM 3.0 per share is PE 30.

For comparison purpose, Las Vegas Sand, top 1 casino in the world, is selling at 48.50 per share with EPS 5 cents in 2019. LVS 48.50 per share is PE 9.

What is so premium with GenM?

If UK is that righteous, she should let the original inhabitants return to Chagos Islands ( aka Diego Garcia). UK grabbed the islands from Maldives during colonial rule n gave it to US to build its naval base.

The original inhabitants were forced into boats to resettled in Maldives with only shirts they wear with no compensation. Their houses were burnt n livestock all killed. U can google and read abt this. The handful of brave British journalist exposed UK hypocrisy.

In September 2018, the International Court of Justice in The Hague, plans to hear arguments in a case regarding whether Britain violated Mauritian sovereignty when it took possession of the islands for its own purposes.

Huawei’s phone got sensor to spy people.Seriously?u believe in this? If China got this kind of technology, why they don’t want to use it to invent their own chipset for pc and handphone?
Do u know how hard it is to make this kind of “sensor”? Is like building a PC inside a phone! Besides, it needs to have super cooling system so that it won’t overheat while transmitting data.

This is called "cutting edge upon cutting edge" technology. If China can do this, she is already a technological leader. There is no need to play catch up n doesn't have to wait until 2030.I am doubtful China can do this.
It is the US that is trying to sow fear in face of losing global influence. On the other hand, does US made chips contain spyware ? The US was caught spying on Merkel of Germany n Obama said it is "legitimate spying."
