based on past trends, good chance for mgmt. to unlock some value from the huge capital appreciation in associate Dayang, by reduce its stake from 26.42% for dividends, to reward loyal shareholders, so good to be sabar.

naim used to own 45% in Dayang in 2007, reduced to 36% on Dayang listed in 2008, reduce to 34.17% in 2011, 33.6% in 2012, 29.06% in 2014, 26.42%in 2017 until now.

yes, bright spot remains only in East Malaysia shares , that's why value investors got confidence to keep collecting..ok, add some..

Seems like Jaks' current trend is very different to past few months (Oct'19 ~Feb'20)

1) Started to trade below SMA 90 by Feb 28th (never happened after Oct 8'19).
2) Traded below SMA 90 for 5 days (Feb 28th until Mar 5th, never happened after Oct 8'19).
3) No immediate rebound back to above SMA 50 (1.35), thus SMA 50 instead of a usual support, currently it become a resistance.

Go in with eyes open, that JAKS only own 30% & 70% belongs to Chinese Co. mgmt & board ctrl under Chinese Co., then you wont be caught when things go different from what you expect.
Unlike politics, 30% minority dont dictate to 70% majority.

since 20th feb., naim's investment gain in dayang shrunk by 24.4% or rm201 millions !
hope it does not continue to reduce n mgmt take firm action to safeguard Naim's interests..

It is interesting to note that despite all the latest good news & hard work by sifu DK66,
big funds seems not biting and all who want to buy seems to have bought, is that why the price is coming down again ?

noticed that JAKS rally since 15/1 (49.7m) has max 20+m shares & not sustained, could be distribution rally ahead of anticipated results soon..

Could it be public invest done it due diligence on the whole deal and saw something , we are not seeing ? Track record of JAKS is another red flag on the management ability to deliver on a foreign project, when it cant even forsee nor resolve issues with projects on home soil. Minority shareholders need to take big dose of confidence pills every day.
