I replied " if not all , at least part of that IHH privatised money should be used to reward the existing minority shareholders. Should any investment opportunity arise, as a public company, the directors can either borrow money from the banks, issued bonds or make right issues.

@prudentinvestor : I attended AGM in the year after IHH was privatised while Keck Seng was rewarded handsomely. I called upon the directors to distribute part of money it received to its shareholders but was outright rejected with reasons money hard to come by and have to conserve it for potential future investment, in subsequent years, directors getting more and more in their directors fees. since then. i know this is a value trapped co. ...

Directors are selfish fellows n not willing to share with minorities by paying out higher dividend.
They keep having excuses of accumulating the fund for future good investment but they get h willing to pay higher directors fees each year to themselves.

Your caution reminds me of Icap Tan Teng Boo, forever worry this and that events, end of the day put major parts of Icap funds in Fixed Deposit for past 10 years, yet he claimed himself as Warren Buffett of Malaysia.
As a Bursa investor, I am vigilance of event that may impact this counter. I see no reason to worry so much as long as PH is in control of federal government and Pahang State government right now .Certain states seats may lose to PN in Selangor and Penang in future state election may cause some correction on this counter but I believe the impact may not as severe as like lock down during Covid 19

MD of K seng is having similar character as Icap MD Tan Teng Boo, damn selfish if you attended their AGM, you can feel it, no matter how undervalued, just ignore

When the company wasn't profitable during financial years 2020 and 2021, it didn't pay any dividend. The yearly dividend has been quite consistent at 10 sen a share for over 10 years.

Remember years back, Genm used to be the major shareholders of Genting HK, LKT forsaw Cruise Business will be running well in future and wallop shares owned by Genm.
LKT reshuffled and moved the direct shares owned by Genm to his Kien Huat holding co and subsequently distributed extra ordinary gain of such disposal as special dividend to Genm shareholders. At that particular time, A lot of Genm Shareholders were annoyed and got out of Genm. Who knows, blessing in disguise, due to Covid 19, Genting HK faced liquidity and ended up winding, Genm is not affected at all.

GenB NTA $8.41 is the historical value , Market value is much higher

Demand on Singapore Genting go higher as more Singaporean can own it via CPF account, Definitely GENB should go higher as well
