As declared before I continue to invest till as low as 15 sens from more than 70 cents average , started to make money as Armada price broke 29 cents , if it dip further I will buy again. This is long term investment with a lot of faith and patience for under valued share but not short selling cat calls with fear mongering. So I am still with swimming trunk though have dipped into water for sometimes, no panic, John,anyway how was the view from coconut tree you were washed ashore ? Lonely lately ?

It is beyond oil supply disruption for now, the geopolitical situations changes in Middle East after the attack can be big. If further deteriorations between Iran and the rest of Middle Eastern countries, the oil price may surge further and further raises the chance of world economic recession sooner than later. Congratulations to those who hold on to Armada , I invested since 2014, burnt quite badly with more than RM 1.40 costs ,continue to buy to average down when it dipped and also sold some when it rebounded and then continue to buy when it dipped again till it reached 15 cents . Today I start to make profit on paper as I have not sold yet. Target it would go beyond RM 0.50 cents by year end and aim for target RM 1.50 in 12 months time.

Thanks to many good encouragement with good analysis from Mabel, Mikekim,Stockraiders, Superpanda and many more others who remained positive of this pending turn around in the face of negative talking down by ckca , john Chew and others ( IDSS camp ?) Robert, I had some remaining Armada shares @average cost of 71 cents about a year ago ; instead of sitting on my hands watching in pain as the share prices tanked in tandem with all the bad news of impairment and low oil price , I continued to buy in batches of Armada share as it dropped to as low as around 15 cents. Now my average cost is below 30 cents . With the worst impairment done due to Kraken under performing then , I am more confident now than I was buying at 15 cents. As you said you are @ 75 % loss , perhaps doubling down buying with current price at 0.3 P/B values can be a game changer sooner for you. We are waiting for Claire settlement for a boost soon. It is your money of course, you decide at your own risks and rewards.

For IDSS traders, such as MoneyKJ1 and Ckca , they will continue to look for and peddled any negative news true or false alarm even they are outdated for some times already , to blow many times over to scare off the investors into panic. At times they talk “authoritatively “ to get their “snake medicines “ sold at all costs to people who don’t challenge their claims . They would shut their mind completely to positive development of a targeted company turn around. Luckily we have many strong minded investors here to stand up to their attempts to have their ways, including their initial name callings ( I suspect they stopped doing just because they got warnings ) to those who stand up to them. You declare it zero, saying that it is ONLY technical, in future can be recovery.
Then you sell it for 20 million myr, and a promise of more money ... however buyer can offset repair cost. Which he will likely do. This buyer has no credibility.
Mortgage against ship that is a movable asset ??? Hmmm, questionable.

Now, I see it as a loss of 280 million actually happening in cash expended versus received.

And some see it as brilliant as 20 million recovered saying that utiliizing FPSO is tricky.
Costs involved ... overproduction, etc.

But wait a minute, isn;t BA in business of utilizing FPSO?

You may have muxed up the currency unit . Perdana was valued at RM 300 million but now sold at USD 40 millions ? So it is not as bad as you think .

The short sellers will get washed naked ashore against rising tide and price Tsunami of Armada eventually, matter of time, hence ckca is frantically posing to convince to sell . My advise is still for him to run instead of trying to act like chief engineer of Armada ship talking about generator set failing in bad weather.

Ckca , as I expected they cant read. I already posted you not yet read or dont know how to read ? Generator failure.. you know what is a generator or not ? When machine needs more power to fight a rough situation... they put generator into high stress.. and if failed. Of cos now they repaired.. now no storm yet, when storm hit again, see what will happen to it.

I certainly know what is a generator on onboard ship as I operated and service them before, and you can’t assume Kraken has no spare generators , obviously you simply shoot from assumptions. Generally a ship would have 3 or 4 generators , running 2 or 3 with at least 1 standby for any emergency. During rough weathers, all generators run simultaneously to prevent main engine tripping should any generator/s tripped and in case of FPSO, it is anchored I believed during the operation .
Correct or not ? I stand to be corrected , Chief ckca , sir.
