What you missed is they must que in both Buy & Sell orders, as Market Makers (Liquidity Providers).

They know their que's. When additional shares come up on the que, they will buy up and change their sell que(Up the price). That way the price will rise BUT with the shares of the poor uninformed retailer.

Then when the sentiment gets(In laymans language: When the love gets spread), they'll start to sell to the BUY que of the retailers.
