Settlement price = Market price of a share - Issue price of Warrant

VALUE OF A WARRANT
= (Settlement price - Exercise price)/ Exercise ratio

and the share price is 8.59, after charges and cost the warrant holder gets nothing

Premiums are an additional cost to a person who buys the warrant from the market.

Right now, the issue revolves around SUPERMX C77 expiring on 30th September. Take a look at the calculation of the Settlement Price.
Now compare it to the value of a Supermax mother share. If you think the mother share is fairly valued (According to you, NOT according the IB that issued the Call Warrant).

UPlanet. All said and done. Please tell those IB's that the investors are not a commodity to be used and abused at their will and pleasure. If anyone can justify the valuations of these companies, I am willing to listen. But the reasoning must rational. Not some jargon. I speak that language too.

One last question, that serves as an answer to your question: Given all of the above, WHY should an investor be concerned about an IB being sufficiently hedged ?

Where is the regulation in this? Where is the fairness in this ?

Also please explain to me the logic behind the price valuation of the Glove companies and the extreme and rather baffling change in Analysts views that are being spewed out. The fact that the very same IB that has issued Warrants are the ones that have blatantly and without any shame issued these valuation changes

The very concept goes against the grain of an informed Investment decision that people are making by investing in a company's shares. Therefore a regulatory framework that incorporates the common Investor in absolutely necessary

Please know that it really is of no concern to me, personally, and several others whether the IB's are sufficiently hedged or covered in their risks.
