hhakim can u guess potential reason y they r keeping rig on ready stack mode at 1st well? Y not move to second well n start drilling there? Are they running some wireline down the hole in 1st well?

For sure there is a distinct difference it her mood last week and this week no matter how much she wants to cover it.
That is why I will follow the chart/momentum.
If price start turning up I will follow. Will make less but at least I am safe from any downside. like she said dont speculate one hahaha

Aiyaaah isn't it obvious FlowerPower work at bungaraya. I can even guess which dept she work in.
I follow her long enough I can tell where the counter is heading by her mood but now crunch time.....only hard data will do for me

if if there is oil in there they will know by now...the only thing that may take some time to determine is composition and recovery rate to see if it is economically viable to develop
if no oil..straight forward la. nothing come out at all
2013-12-19 16:57 | Report Abuse
hope by sharing investors here knows a bit how oil n gas works
2013-12-19 16:55 | Report Abuse

i think may be hibs the one yg not real time in making the announcement hahaha
anyway i am lock and loaded waiting for the announcement
i wanna reinvest after cashing out
2013-12-19 15:04 | Report Abuse
i wish they can announce first find oil or not in 1st well.
recovery rate, composition etc can announce later
2013-12-19 15:01 | Report Abuse
i may be wrong....if moving to new field location status in rigzone will indicate "enroute" now status indicated still "ready stacked"
2013-12-19 11:26 | Report Abuse
aiyaaa announcement find oil or not got nothing to do if oil is dirty or clean or sweet or sour
what matters is
1) is there oil
2) does production/recovery rate makes it economically viable to develop
Item 2 is the crucial part
if find oil but flow like pee no use also maah

FYI all drilling rigs have a lab on board. They should have some preliminary result by now.
All the silence so far makes me want to err on the side of caution.
Unlike spac management I pay good money for my Hibiscus shares. I thought it was prudent for me to cash out and wait for the outcome.
Oman after all is the biggest % oil field block Hibiscus has currently
2013-12-19 11:15 | Report Abuse
I cashed out my wa at ard 2.05 lvl as I wanted more clarity from the Oman drilling result.
If drilling result is good I will re enter again
2013-12-19 10:52 | Report Abuse
roslaom i bought hibiscs 1st week they got listed.
hold tight is ok
sell at highs and reenter at lows is also ok
i just dont like when some people here in this forum promote as if there is no risk and share price confirm will rise non stop one.
we oil n gas man both knows that finding oil is hit n miss at best
2013-12-19 10:33 | Report Abuse
wait for drilling data bro.
u may earn less but your downside is protected
2013-12-19 10:29 | Report Abuse
ya la u spac management ppl got your shares for free, u all bukan investors pun strcutly speaking what. we all have to take better care of own hard earn money hahaha
2013-12-19 10:25 | Report Abuse
yup we are all waiting for the drilling report...enough said
2013-12-19 10:20 | Report Abuse
yup i am stupid oil n gas man instead some stupid investors relations person in charge hahaha
2013-12-19 10:18 | Report Abuse
dont worry if there is indeed viable oil in Oman i will be the 1st to join the fun. it is put up or shut up time for Hibiscus
2013-12-19 10:17 | Report Abuse
u need to do a better job in selling/promoting
2013-12-19 10:16 | Report Abuse
non viable oil is as good as no oil
2013-12-19 10:15 | Report Abuse
hahaha so u r saying rex can only see the oil but cannot determine size of reserve? what rubbish
2013-12-19 09:49 | Report Abuse
tangkap lompatan kucing mati mah hahaha
2013-12-19 09:48 | Report Abuse
Think the warrant is worth a nibble at this lvl
2013-12-19 09:18 | Report Abuse
considering over 1 billion shares traded T+4 days ago, looking good so far. No massive dumping happening
2013-12-19 08:49 | Report Abuse
Hahaha Flowerpower jgn la marah. Well I have more than enough experience in oil and gas.
Hibiscus has been extremely kind to me since it got listed : )
Nothing wrong though to maximise my returns by selling at highs and rebuy at lows
Long may it continue hihihi
2013-12-19 01:08 | Report Abuse
That said if share price start ticking up I will follow the ride hahaha
2013-12-19 01:05 | Report Abuse
There are bigger and more capable oil and gas E&P than Hibiscus that has gone bust before so no such thing as sure share price will rise one
2013-12-19 01:02 | Report Abuse
That is why to me Oman is very crucial to Hibiscus/lLime as they own 64% of the block and they are the block operator
2013-12-19 00:55 | Report Abuse
You own 5% stake in the field and u r the one doing the exploration and drilling hahaha
2013-12-19 00:54 | Report Abuse
All this Norway block Hibiscus bought via JV with Lime. field shareholding 0f the 7 license are 33%, 20%, 12%,12% the other are 5% (roughly)
Hibiscus stake less Lime stake is half of the above if not mistaken
Yet people give the impression that Hibiscus/Lime will be doing the exploration and drilling
Yeah right.....
2013-12-19 00:22 | Report Abuse
To all please do your own study what exactly is Hibiscus doing in Norway. Understand their scope. The concept of production license in Norway. Concept of field operator vs field equity holder. Field percentage shareholdings etc etc
It is good but not as rosy as some would like to paint it
2013-12-18 23:11 | Report Abuse
There is also conspicuously an absence of yaaaaaahhhhhoooooooo n yaaaabaaaaadabaaaadoooooooooo so far this week unlike last week and I find that scary hahahaha
2013-12-18 23:04 | Report Abuse
Any way all the best. Myself I am looking for more clarity before taking next action
2013-12-18 23:02 | Report Abuse
U do not get operating blocks base on what technology u r going to use.
80 wells in US shale oil is nothing to say the least
90% accuracy????? Wow if that is true Rex will be worth billions. Tomorrow already Shell Exxon Chevron Schlumberger Halliburton will be queuing to take over Rex
2013-12-18 22:39 | Report Abuse
Any drillers or subsurface guy here that can provide insight why the rig is ready stack after drilling well no 1. They presumably have capped the well no 1. Why not drill well no 2. Say there is oil in well no 1. What is the rig expected to do next at well no 1?
Sorry I am a topside project guy, subsurface thing is still a dark art for me
2013-12-18 22:34 | Report Abuse
That said, for those who have long horizon Norway play will support Hibiscus
2013-12-18 22:32 | Report Abuse
I don't know if anybody noticed or not but last few days a lot of transactions are purple coded for selling not the usual red coded
2013-12-18 22:28 | Report Abuse
If they are that good and proven all drilling done by everybody will be using Rex. Drilling is so costly and with so many unknown that any technology that improve success rate even by a bit.....the oil co will jump at it.
What I am trying to say Rex technology will not guarantee there is a viable oil find down there
