We downgrade SapuraKencana to NEUTRAL and cut our TP to MYR2.20 (+6% upside, 10x P/E) from MYR4.02. Our TP takes into account weaker E&P contributions in FY16F (at a lower oil price assumption) and risks of orderbook replenishment for services and rigs internationally. Our stress test scenario implies that the stock will continue to face weak sentiment and downside risks that could lower our TP to MYR1.99.

Going by the tming of the release of this news, I would say big sharks are purposely releasing it to use it to goreng armada... Armada is going up very soon

The surprise dividend is not even meant for u, it is for the substantial shareholders to pay their loan interest or to top up margin call.

The substantial shareholders use SKP shares to get loans, if SKP drop some more banks will ask for top up of securities... if cannot than the banks will sell the shares, when this happen SKP will drop like a stone to below 2.00

SKP has dropped so much, will it be excluded and replaced in the FBM KLCI soon?? If this happen will SKP drop for another round to below 2.00???

SKPetro has bought over Murphy's assets in Malaysia as well as some overseas oil assets recently; it is somewhat an international oil company now and its share price is being pegged to global parameters. SKpetro is now being dumped by global funds as they have dumped Murphy Oil.


The bad news is the dumping is likely not over yet as oil prices continue to trend lower.
