Heard no jobs no income yet the yard is burning hundreds of thousands of cash every month

Unbelievable, so low. Its yard is so quite now you can hear a pin drops. The CEO has warned before that THHeavy is not getting any jobs.

The only way out is to get out of oil and gas business. But who want to buy fabrication yard at this moment and what is going to happen to that one and only FPSO? Scrap it??

The minute he knew he has made a mistake QLC cut like no tomorrow. And on hindsight he is 100% right!

THHeavy has only one FPSO and look at its price now only around 15 cent compared to Quek Leng Chan purchase price at around 40 cents and 52 week high at around 80 cent.

Any rebound sell. MUST SELL else you are looking at 60 cent very soon. China demand is gone now.

Profit in term of EPS has dropped to about 1.23 cents, and say for whole year the EPS is about 5 cents then at current price the PE will be around 25.

With oil prices expected to remain low for many years to come and legal cases and bad debts etc etc... how to justify a PE of 20+???

perisai should have provided for impairment loss for its two idling assets which it has not been able to get contract for a long time already... even Petronas has provided for impairment loss on its assets. Perisai Q4 result may not be so accurate IMHO

If good result is reported that means all the existing contracts have been completed in 4Q and no more income in future unless new contracts are won but THHEAVY has not been able to win contracts as noted by the CEO

IMHO what rMoi is saying on the Nigeria majors cannot be taken likely, afterall Armada is making allowance on some of its receivables; if not the Nigeria majors than who else???

If u read the announcement by CEO, it was on 3/12/14...just nicely done 2 weeks+ before THHEAVY warrant expired on 20/12/2014.. Warrant players get caught badly...unless they willing to convert +0.51 for future long term play buy mother price is even cheaper that time!
Those holding warrant sell off at dirt cheap price + mother share also plunge same day till 0.365 and continue to fall continuously daily till 0.275. When the price is low, those big players accumulates and buy most of it.

Last December, upstream O&G player TH Heavy Engineering Bhd ( Financial Dashboard), unable to withstand the current headwinds in the O&G industry amid tumbling crude oil prices, announced that it would be retrenching some redundant staff, but did not say how many.

The i-ICPS may temporarily relieve THHeavy problem by funding the FPSO but will cause a massive dilution of an expected already very low EPS in the near future

stonenut THHeavy problem is that its project order book is getting very low yet it cannot win new projects... so its yard is under utilised and it has to retrench workers

No projects so no sales and no cashflow.... not just profitability so simple

TH Heavy Engineering is laying off staff in order to withstand the current strong headwinds in the oil and gas industry. In a memo sighted by the Edge Financial Daily, the fabrication company informed selected employees that "due to the current financial situation the management has no alternative but to implement the retrenchment of redundant staff effective 1 Dec". In an earlier interview with the Edge weekly, TH Heavy CEO Nor Badli Munawir had admitted that if the company did not bag a reasonably large fabrication job by 1Q15, it could be in "serious trouble".
As the Bergading project in the North Malay basin was awarded to Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in May, TH Heavy's fortunes hinges on the possible US$1bn award of the CPP project for the Baronia oil field off Sarawak. However, reports from international O&G publications indicated that HHI is likely to be the front runner for the project, which will edge out TH Heavy and its partner, McDermott International Inc. (Financial Daily)

TH Heavy is the second fabricator we know that has downsized its workforce after MMHE. This is due to the awards of large fabrication contracts, included those for Bergading and Baronia, to foreign companies, leaving yard utilisation low.

The amount to be raised in the new RI is only 300 millions that is 150 millions lower than the RI cancelled.

There is no bonus issue to sweeten the deal for you this time and the profit is only at around 1% in the 1st year.

So, given the "serious trouble" and low interest rate is this a good enough deal for you to chip in your money to save TH Heavy ???

Remember, the 2nd trance of the private placement upto now nobody wants to take up....

When 1MDB has exhausted AK n turned to EPF to assist to tolong tolong to pay a couple of billions of its overdue loan instalments.. tat is d sign u shd take out your EPF
