construction based business in Malaysia, in terms of accounting, is really hard to judge... Well, not to say they're doing fake accounting, but the tendency of doing fake accounting is relatively high.. They can boast all sort of projects in hand (how many billions, etc..), but in reality, how many $ is real profit? Well, this is open question and anybody with construction/accounting background, please feel free to comment.....

Back to Cypark, ya, prospect is good, solar business (oh well, trending industry ma, good prospect, so-called). Cash Flow "might" become positive once IPP business is back, etc. Again, let's hope for the best..

Perhaps this kind of industry is new in Malaysia. Anyway, if you'll manage to find a similar company like Cypark (outside Malaysia) that can do very well in solar power generation, please feel free to share.

Interestingly, Allianz CEO said the opposite, tough for general insurance but slightly better for Life: "Meanwhile, commenting on its life insurance segment, Zakri says the company has been able to see some growth in this area as sales are also motivated by how secure people feel. “People who still have money are buying life insurance, and we are getting sales from here. Not fantastic but good enough as people are still purchasing life insurance,” he says."

This father and son pair have been promoting their company since May I think.. After that, the share price goes up..Their IR, Mr Tan Kang Seng once condemned those companies that gave bonus issue one ma (ask investors do not fall onto this trap), some more say bonus issue got nothing to do with the fundamental of the company.

Now what happens?? The old tactic is used again, active in social media + bonus issue..

See how importance is publicity. MD and his son just appear in a few live shows and present their company's future plan (not yet materialized), then got bunch of peoples will buy their shares no matter how high is the company's current valuation. Really respect this bunch of noobs.

Most probably he knows something from the company. Otherwise, i dun think he will invest in such company. After all, considering his status, he must know lots of people, & might know some insider news from the company that ordinary peoples cannot access.

@ICONS23, As compared to 3A, I think GENETEC did right by having business in EV-related industry (pls correct me if I am wrong). Even it looks weaker in its financial, people still willing to buy no matter what.... This is market.

Hi, I knew it is an old news, but how you guys view the "insider-trading" activity of previous 3A management (MD & his daughter)?

It is still too early to say cypark = serbadk. However, the worrying part is delay construction project, delayed WTE, debt repayment, poor cash flow, diluted EPS (PP) etc. These are all the risks that investors would consider, apart from the beautiful picture ahead once the plants are completed.

All of us know steel counters are cyclical stock and looking at PE alone is = suicide. You should know this as you are so long at stock market already & yet you still wanna confuse people with low PE = good buying oppurtunity.

Your intention is very clear--> Wanna let other people to chase high so that you can dump your shares to them.. You're already 80++, come one. do more charity works and stop confusing peoples.

actually dividend reinvestment plan is doing no good for investors. It will even dilute your EPS.. Unless the company can use your dividend to drive the growth. Otherwise, better take cash la (if they give dividend this year la)...

Issue more bonds to get cash so that can pay dividends???? so good the Board of Directors.

Personally speaking, MTAG business is too much dependent on ATAIMS. Seems like MTAG has no bargaining power at all in passing the rising material cost back to its customers. And, if you look at ATAIMS balance sheet, it has not settled the payment of many of its suppliers (ballooning trade payable). And in fact, the cash flow of ATAIMS is bit problematic.. My personally feeling....

I think Mr Teo's lowest cost is around RM 0.7xx. It is rather interesting to see him stoking up his % holding since 2020.

Hi Observatory, I believe the motor insurance of STMB is doing great, just like other companies. For credit related products, again, it boils down to how severe is the impact of the IFRS17. Even in AGM, the CEO did not answer (he said subjected to the financial performance in 2022). Well, again, it is hard for outsiders like us to really know the impact. But I believe the CFO/CEO will surely know something...

I checked that their CFO seldom dispose her shares. But lately, she also cannot tahan & sell too. Last time CEO is the one who keep on dumping shares. But recently other key management peoples also keep dumping.

All in all, we may convince ourselves these guys wanna diversify their investments. But I am just wondering how come almost every key personnel did the share dumping lately? Everybody also wanna diversify? I agree it may not reflect the deteriorating fundamental of STMB, but for me as investors, I surely don't like to see this.
