Post Q4 2021 Announcement

Reiterate buy with a valuation of RM2.25 to RM2.51 using PE 8 to 10 based on our FY 2022 estimated EPS of 28 Sen.

Fantastic result above expectation. Current share price at RM1.32, it is trading at PE6.43 based on FY 2021 EPS of 20.54.

We are PRUDENTLY estimating the FY 2022 EPS to be 28 Sen given all the Divisions are profitable. See the attached excel table on our logical basis. At PE 8 to 10, its valuation could range from RM2.25 to RM2.81. A better assessment would be after Q1 2022 result is announced by end April 2022 which we are expecting it to be in line with Q4 2021 performance.

We were convinced that Texchem had turned around since Q3 2020, Q4 2020 and Q1 2021 and derailed by the Covid 19 full MCO in May 2021. We had initiated a valuation of RM1.60 to RM2.00 post MCO in Oct 2021 as a recovery stock when it was less than RM1.00. The Q4 2021 result was out which is way above our estimation of EPS 10 Sen.

In Q4 2021, the Group achieved higher revenue of RM323.8 million (Q4 2020: RM270.3 million) and pre-tax profit of RM20.5 million (Q4 2020: pre-tax profit of RM15.4 million). The Q4 2021 profit after tax attributable to shareholders was RM16.533 mil with EPS of 13.71 Sen (Q4 2020: RM9.76 mil with EPS of 8.09 Sen)

For the FY 2021, the Group recorded revenue of RM1,087.3 million and pre-tax profit of RM30.7 million against FY 2020 revenue of RM1,017.7 million and pre-tax profit of RM1.4 million in YTD Q4 2020. The FY 2021 profit after tax attributable to shareholders was RM24.767 mil with EPS of 20.54 Sen (FY 2020: loss RM2.539 mil with LPS of 1.96 Sen)

Since its an open secret that profit will be somewhere between 8 to 10 million for Q4, that gives a quarterly eps of around 9 sen. If you annualised that forward, that's yearly eps of 36 sen. A very conservative pe ratio of 10 gives it a fair value price of rm3.60. Industrial and food divisions will be the superstars for the company.

MGO target? Majority shareholder has been buying back the shares since last month and now owns almost 50 % of the company. Hmm...

Never got a chance to buy Frontkn last year because the price already flew over 4 by the time I paid attention. Things always happen for a reason and this time I have heavily collected the warrant at average 42 sen. Always nice to collect at the bottom. Qr is out this month and without the constraints of mco, we can expect another bombastic quarter especially being q4. The capacity expansion this year will put its earnings into another dimension.

My bets for 2022... MSC, Ancom and Focus Lumber. Supersubs on the bench.. Pmbtech. Already in positive territory for all. Avoid tech stocks this year. It will be choppy.

Already gotten the news before listing that this stock was going to be played up beyond rm1 very soon. Regret not buying but bullets have already been allocated elsewhere for January.

Net cash company primed to make triple return profits for fy22. Factory is at 24x7 production according to management. Fast growing RV market in the US coupled with soaring lumber prices will make the market pay attention very soon. Price has held steadily sideways since the last spike in December. Vcp set up coming along very nicely.

Anyone letting go of their tickets now needs their head examining. Tin prices at almost 44,000 and MSC qr out in Feb. Rm4 is easily achievable.

Totally in agreement. Tech is definitely not the play for this year. Locally I like MSC, Focus Lumber and Ancom a lot. More than 70% portfolio heavy on the above currently.

Calvin, indeed a good call but I don't think time to take profit yet. New owner will push it to 6 or 7.

Tin shortage at critical level now and price of tin reaching a sky-high $43,500. Beneficial from MSC's perspective. Not beneficial to those who need to buy tin as raw materials.

Those who follow Purebull on the EV metal portfolio ie pmetal, pmbtech and MSC are laughing now compared to those holding the Tech portfolio of Genetec and D&O. He who has the last laugh laughs the loudest.

Everything tech has declined by over 30 % since November. Pmbtech has declined 0% in the same period. . Those who are patiently holding pmbtech these last three months are the real winners here compared to so called gems like D&O, kgb, Genetec. A big slap in the face to all the dogs here.

Tech stock movement this year reminds me of gloves when on the way down. There will be one day pumps and rallies followed by few days of red and then rinse and repeat. Beware of deja vu.

Is this a pump and dump? Highly unlikely. I think the price will keep going higher and staying there. First, the volume is too little for the operator to make significant money by pumping and dumping. Secondly, the company has just been taken over by a new owner who bought for 2.50. He would have financed the purchase by pledging the value of the shares to the banks. The higher the value of the shares, the more he can finance. Every chance of this price hitting a crazy TP which I dare not guess. Chart analysis is out of the window for this one.

OTB, if you were calling Hiaptek your Miss Universe at the time , shouldn't you have analysed every other steel stock in bursa first before choosing Hiaptek? Now you are saying that AYS has better FA compared to Hiaptek.

Tech stocks are replicating the gloves trend all over again. Once market has decided, don't be the last one holding the ball of fire. I mentioned Focus Lumber yesterday. It's already moving today. Value recovery stocks will be the flavour for 2022
