It is bullish if it breaks out from its symmetrical triangle at 1.41 with volume AND sustain above this level. It has just issued a breakout signal today but it needs to sustain its momentum. Support is now at 1.41 if the breakout is successful. If it is not, it will have good support at 1.37. Resistance is at 1.48. Good luck.

jasonor, that is a very valid question. You are right. It would be good for those companies' future QRs. My guess is USD will strengthen further should Fed raise interest rates in Dec.

It is still trading in its uptrend channel. All selling has been well absorbed so far and it does looks poised to trend higher. It should have very strong support at 0.225. 0.24 is posing as a resistance so far today as it attempt to reach its first TP at 0.25 and subsequently to 0.27 and 0.30.

Yeah, agree with you tsy. Companies with good financial performances drew a lot of attention especially those with small capital base. westgun, 1.04 is the immediate resistance and its a pretty strong resistance too. But if it is broken with volume, it will head back towards 1.14/1.16. There is a fair amount of accumulation in Armada at the moment but at the same time a lot of profit taking too. Possibly the MISC rumour is still circling around.

Low oil price is here to stay at least in the near term. Oil price could probably range between USD40 to 45/46 with a possibility of it breaking below 40. Currently, the 40 support level seems to be holding.

At present, there are many bearish bearing factors on oil price. There is simply an oil glut with slowing demand, a result of slowing economies and there are no curtailments of production levels in sight for the immediate future.

Armada has been very active of late due largely to the MISC M&A rumour. It is subjected to the oil price volatility too as you are already aware. It has broken out of its downtrend line and it looks bullish. It is now consolidating under the dark cloud of 11/11 and has a fairly good support at 0.97. It faces an immediate resistance at 1.04 and could re-test its previous high of 1.16 if broken out with volume again.

There is still some weakness in the stock but the weakness appears to be waning. Collection near to 0.97 offers a low risk buy. MISC has refuted the rumour. You will need to trade with this risk in mind. I trade this stock regularly. I am monitoring for possible re-entry if the TA is favourable again.

Dunknow, Allwin, Kayza, D7zul, Its not easy to forecast our KLCI these days as there are many external shocks that keeps popping up just when we "thought it was safe to go back into the water" which magnifies the volatility that is already prevailing in the market. But then again, we are now living in an era of great dynamism and volatility due in large part to the quick flow of information accorded to us by digital technologies.

The KLCI found a support today at 1644 and selling pressure appears to be decreasing. There were accumulation in selected stocks. I would expect the KLCI to trend sideways in the short term with perhaps some bearish bias. We may possibly see a rebound in the market tomorrow although I may be wrong. In the near term, we could see a range bound index between 1644 and 1697. Any further weakness in the market from its current level could see it trending towards 1600.

There will be some immediate temporary fears and jitters in the market from the Paris attack as is the case with most events of such nature which the market should recover from. However, I believe the impact on markets to be temporary. But the bigger issues lie with the overall world economic health, commodity prices, and the US rate hike.

There is a high possibility of a US rate hike in December. Personally, i would expect the Fed to do the hike this time round. If they do, we hope they will lay out the direction of future rate hikes to give more certainty to the market. As I mentioned previously, its best that they get the rate hike out of the way rather than have the market guessing month in month out over this. With all the talks of a real hike now, I believe the Dow is already factoring in the effect of this hike at the moment.

As always, there will always be stocks to trade. Stocks which recently recorded good financial results are worth tracking. Stocks that comes to mind are Gadang, LCTH, Inari and Tekseng. Then there are others that are attractive from a technical perspective like EG, Esceram and Carepls. And I am sure you will have your own range of stocks to monitor and trade. Irregardless, as we always preach here, do set your trading plan before you enter any trade.

Bullish after breaking out from its midterm down trend line on 26/10 followed by a breakaway gap on 30/10. It is now consolidating after hitting a high of 1.86, now the resistance, with volume. Immediate support is at 1.76 and will have strong gap support at 1.67/1.69. This stock remains bullish with a potential re-rating of its valuation on the cards based on its recent spectacular financial performance being the catalyst.

Unisem:
Bullish and currently consolidating sideways with an immediate support at 2.33. It is losing momentum at the moment and could likely trade side ways before attempting to overcome its resistance at 2.40.

It is trading within its uptrend channel. Its current consolidation has ended with good support at 1.07. It is turning bullish with good increased volume coupled with a declining selling momentum. If the strong resistance at 1.16 is overcome, it will be poised to take out its next resistance at 1.20.

Its current consolidation phase appeared to have ended when it bottomed at 0.72. But, the selling momentum picked up over the last 2 trading sessions. Probably traders who bought just before the price jump are locking in profits. It needs to break out from 0.795 with volume before it can have another meaningful bullish run. Immediate support is at 0.73.

tsy, yes, seems like GLCs drew interest today. The finance sector is most badly hit today and is pulling down the whole market along with it. Oil price may rebound somewhat in the near future. If it does, stocks like Armada who has a big order book, will be of interest.

The Fed stance of keeping its interest rate unchanged is to be expected. They probably prefer to buy more time to better gauge the direction of the Chinese economy. My guess is that a December hike is a high possibility.

westgun, APFT has broken out from its strong resistance of 0.24, now turned support. If it continues to stay above this price level, then this breakout is valid. Its doji today is indicative of a well absorbed selling pressure. Taking out 0.255 resistance will set it to new highs. It may take a breather before testing new grounds in the light of an overall weak market.
