belkg, no one can really predict a market crash. In the past, there have been many predictions about the market which have yet to come true and in some instances proven wrong too. Irregardless, as long as we trade with a plan, we will not be badly hit. Most importantly, we need to trade within our comfort zone. If we do not feel comfortable with the market, we can always take a back seat and have more in cash than in equities.

johnny cash, we have not heard of any negative news on IFCAMSC. Although on paper, its reports still looks good financially, once investors have lost confidence in a stock, it can be sold down like no tomorrow. On the same score, there are also many good FA stocks that just do not move up. There may be undercurrents in Ifcamsc that we may not be aware of but it is best not to speculate without any evidence as we simply do not know.
Ifcamsc is bearish. Its strong support at 1.31 has been broken down and today it broke down further from its psychological support of 1.00. The selling momentum is still strong. Trending down, its tp of 1.01/1.00 has been broken and the next tp is 0.80.
Stocks like Ifcamsc reminds us why its very risky to average down and it also emphasizes the importance of cutting loss early without any fear. We hope most of our readers are not caught in this whole Ifcamsc affair.

skyu,
KNM formed a bullish engulfing candle on 2/6 on high volume. Immediate support = 0.53 while immediate resistance is at 0.59/0.60. If it breaks 0.63, it will become bullish. You will want to stop loss if 0.52 is broken down.

twoplus, we usually look for reversal patterns and we monitor for the selling pressure of the stock to ease off. We also need to establish the trend of the stock. If it has turned bearish, we might want to monitor first. During these times, stock selection becomes important.

profitman, lookin at this kind or bearish trend ,what should monitor for a buy signal?or at least stable foundation

There has been a lot of selling pressures in the market over the past few trading sessions for various reasons. We can't emphasize enough to follow your trading plan. Once a stock has hit your stop loss, high chance that a crucial support has been broken and you will want to cut loss. Capital protection is important in such a bearish market. Cheers.

Duit, I just want to add on to the very good Yoda's response.
For new high trending stocks, I do calculate the target prices based on fibo numbers but I sell by trailing stops. And I also monitor the indicators and trading patterns for signs of the stock weakening. Monitoring for distribution or consolidation is also very helpful. But at the end of it, I still sell by trailing stops to allow me to ride the profits as far as possible. You and I know that ultimately, we will still not be able to sell at its highest price.
For newly listed IPOs, there is no TP but we can use its valuation as a guide. I usually stay away from newly listed IPOs until its price has settled down.
Again, the above is just my trading preference and others may not trade this way.

Bearish and down trending. We usually avoid such stocks to trade. If its immediate support of 0.295 is broken, it will trend towards its TP of 0.28 and 0.25. Immediate resistance is at 0.315/0.32.

st51, we do not recommend buy, sell or hold calls here and neither do we recommend averaging down. But we can lay out the TA for you to decide on your next course of action.
Wintoni, seems to have pretty good support at 0.29/0.295 but it needs to clear the 0.35 resistance to move up further. A break above 0.35 with volume would suggest the end of its correction. You will need to monitor your stop loss price as per your trading plan.

kurakura, there are many ways to take profits. I have commented on this in the past and I may be repeating some of the stuff here but I don't mind sharing again since you have a keen interest in this area.
Many times, traders regret selling too fast as the price jumps after they sell off and they look at all the vanishing profits before their eyes. Happens to me too. If it happens, don't regret. Just move on with your trading. This is part and parcel of trading. If the stock is very bullish, I do sometimes jump back in to ride it further.
Some traders set an amount of target profit, say 5 sen. Once the stock moves 5 sen, they sell and move on. They are not bothered if the price sky rockets after that. This is one way of selling.
Then there are those who sell based on TPs through whatever calculation methods. Profits are locked in as per your example.
For me, if a stock is very bullish, I usually let the price ride as far as it goes, constantly adjusting my trailing stop along the way even though it hits my TP. It also means that I don't get to sell at its highest price most of the time. Sometimes there are also stocks that I sell all at TP. So, I do mix it up a bit. But this is just my personal trading method. Others may trade differently.

kurakura, to me, there is no such thing as a noob or stupid question. You have raised some legitimate questions which is probably on the minds of many traders.
(1) if I am not mistaken, Matrix target prices, support and resistance are worked out from the trading patterns of the stock. Different traders view things differently. Hence, support and resistance levels can vary from trader to trader and similarly target prices too. But the figures are usually more or less the same.
But what is most important about TPs is that it is only a guide for us to lock in profits. The stock may or may not reach its TP. You may use fibo to set your TP and the figures may differ from those set by others. But it doesn't really matter because they are generated to give some checkpoints to take profit. So, don't be unduly worried if your TP differs from others. No one is right or wrong really.
(2) You raised some good points on profit taking. It is absolutely crucial to recognize that you will never be able to buy at the lowest price and neither will you be able to sell at the highest price.
The percentage of stock holding to sell when it hits your TP depends on how much risk you want to take further and how much profit you want to reap first. It depends on what you are comfortable with. Say you sold 50%, and decide to ride the balance. You will keep adjusting your trailing stop as the stock trends up. Once it hits your trailing stop, you may decide to sell, say another 30% and ride out the balance or you may opt out completely. Whatever the scenario, you will never be able to ride out the 100% all the time for all stocks simply because we cannot predict how far the stock will go. Also bear in mind that you have already taken your profit when it first hit your TP fulfilling your trading plan objectives. Whatever profits beyond that is a bonus.
As long as you are happy with the profits that you have locked in, we realize it and move on to the next stock or re-trade the stock when it weakens if you feel it will still move up.
I will add on a bit more later. Got to go now.

RaymondPang, welcome and thank you for dropping by and for your kind words.
Fajar:
Sideway rectangle trading between resistance of 0.465 and support of 0.425. It will face major resistance at 0.515 if it breaks above 0.465 while a breakdown from 0.425 will complete the double top bearish reversal pattern and its price will head towards the next support at 0.355.
OcnCash:
Uptrend is intact. Currently undergoing a technical rebound after a correction in price. Seems to have found a support base at 0.30/0.31. Immediate resistance is at 0.355/0.36. Will need to clear its major resistance at 0.385 before testing the next resistance at 0.436.

hengeh, please note that we do not advise on trading decisions.
SGB appears to be building a strong base at 0.665 but we cannot be conclusive about it. If you are riding on profits, you need to set your trailing stop so that you do not turn a winning trade into a losing one. It has an immediate support at 0.625 and then strong support at 0.59/0.595. Congratulations on your winning stock especially during a weak market.
There are always winning stocks to trade even in a weak market and we just need to look for them.
