RJ, some that play contra lost lots of money on Monday. If u observe a few plantation counters, especially THPlant, suddenly got lots of haters within Monday itself. For me, well, 1st part of Monday is very nice, but for some, 2nd part of Monday is damn brutal.

Those folk sold 1.24 this morning and buy back 1.20 already sit on 3% return.

To say don't sell is incorrect. To say sell also incorrect. Although I'm mostly bullish on plantation. I do take profit and buy back time to time. 20-30K shares each time while the rest sit there wait until FY23.

When u hv enough high salary singaporean anchoring the economy, everyone at the bottom benefits.
But here in Malaysia, the wealth is concentrated at the tauke. These minimum wage thing is to force T20 tauke to cough up some cash to increase salary of M40 and B40.

When we can provide lucrative Goods and Services to the market, we can increase the salary of M40. When we have 60% of the labour have enough salary, then it's not difficult for B40 to sell RM15 nasi lemak or charge RM200 per hour cleaning.

This sorzai have been saying this since 90sen. And it's RM1.10.
Don't be surprise to see him saying the same thing when it's RM2.

My stand always Rm430M landsale and 300M profit. My calculation always consistent.

Anyway, I made the calculation considering different kinds of hu ha. It still works out to be between 10-15sen. Likely 11-12sen dividend. This has been consistent since last Dec too.

Y ur Q1 profit estimation is close to mine is because u assumed sales considerations as gain, but it gets offset whn u thought gain from sales are subject to corporate tax

RJ, I did not make hoo ha, I just said the final consideration being adjusted down 50k, to me I just mentioned, n u asked for the announcement, which I gave u the link, though I don’t understand why u need supporting for such a small adjustment.

the size of the land area has been agreed by both parties and the final Disposal Consideration shall be RM428.77 million (compared to RM428.82 million as stated in the Announcement)

So the the cash consideration adjustment u making a hu ha about is 0.1M only or there is something else?

Conclusion, there’s HUGE diff between CASH CONSIDERATION vs GAIN, there are cost of assets disposed…

I don’t think i can come out with unfair estimates. 10-15sen is my estimate. Most probably 11-12sen as I calculated.

PBT of 430M from Landsale, 135M from CPO (if you don’t mind BrianKLC, do share with me the news on landsale adjustment)

0.24* 100M = 24M, 0.33 * 430M = 108.9M, Total tax = 133M

PBT = RM 530M, after 133M tax, PAT 396M. Dividend is 0.6* 396M = RM240M

RM240M dividend / RM2464 * RM1.10 = 10.7sen

Let me check if land sale will also fall under 33% chargeable income for cukai makmur.

PAT from land sale after tax and expenses around RM300m (very give face liao lo this estimate)

PAT from Palm oil RM100M * (RM6000/4500) = RM135M

Total PAT around RM435M. Divdend RM435M * 0.6 = RM 261M

RM261M dividend / RM2464 * RM1.10 = 11.65sen

BrianKLC. 12sen is a reasonable estimate. Or u want to argue also like last time again?

By june, I probably collected 15sen from my 70sen investment. My aim is to 30sen dividend for FY,22 by next year Mac. If price maintains above RM4500 for FY23. I will continue to collect 4-6 dividend for FY23.

With capital of 70sen, collect 25-30sen dividend. If price can close RM1.5(I’m not even asking RM25-RM26 like glove did). I would hv gain 80sen capital gain and 30sen on dividen on my 70sen capital.

So, i will strongly suggest any newbie to make similar calculation before calling yourself investor. Else, u are just a gambler.

U follow enter at Rm1, u make 10%

u follow sorzai exit at RM1, u cut win 10%.

I can’t tell if it’s going to go up RM1.50 or drop back to RM1. But I know there is a 10-15sen dividend coming by June.
