@novice77, all the investors who purchased in the last 4 years are losing money. Company results are good. PE is in single digit and below 5 for half the 4 year period.

For the last 12 months, directors, Share Buy Back and Tabung Haji have been buying KSL shares aggressively. When one bought, the other two would temporary stop. They did not compete with each other to buy. Look like it was coordinated.

Basically the cash in hand of RM254mil (as at 31/12/17) has been used up for the land purchase. No more money for dividends payment. However, the directors' remunerations and bonuses are not affected.

Since Southern Acids also owns a substantial amount of shares in Paramount, Southern Acids should joint venture with Paramount to develop part of the land. In this way, Southern Acids can unlock the value of the land faster and gains experience in development.

For shareholders, the returns of their investments are the dividends received and the increase in share prices. For KSL case, no dividends received and the share price dropped to the lowest in the last 5 years. All the minority shareholders are in fact losing money.

I went to Vancouver and stayed in Trump Hotel last year. I felt obligated to support our owned hotel. It was a very nice hotel in the CBD and It is adjoining the other TAGB property, Fortis Building. The city is very vibrant with a lot of Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese migrants. It was a very good experience to stay there.

Price has come down due to the unconfirmed allegations. Just feel that nothing against the laws could have happened between Ivanka and JK? Ivanka's company was just doing ID work and manage the hotel for TAGB. When thing clears up, TA and TAGB will return to its original levels.

KSL is equally good if not better counter than Paramount. If KSL keeps its promise to pay out 40% of its earnings as dividends, it will have the same performance as Paramount.

Paramount share price has moved up steadily from RM1.30 in June 2016 to RM2.07 yesterday. It is very much helped by its dividend payment policy and the declared 7.5sen special dividend.

@Jon Choivo, how long have you been invested in KSL? I believe it is quite recent. I am pity for those who have invested 3 years and longer. The company is making a lot of profits but the minority investors are not enjoying the benefits. The investors may probably want to divest due to whatever reasons but find that they are making losses after investing into KSL for a long time.

For the shareholders, both major and minorities, we look at the share price and dividends received as the indicators of the performance of our investment. As the share price is at the all time low and no dividend is received, we don't think that the directors should entitle to such a high remunerations.

This company is run like a private company. Directors are paid millions of directors' remunerations but minority shareholders do not receive any dividends. Instead of paying dividends to the minority shareholders, add that into the directors' remunerations package. Sapu all.

Guocoland sold part of its land, abt 640ha in Sepang to Putrajaya Holdings. PJH planned to develope the land into an eco-type resort along the beach.
According to The Star, the first phase of the development will be a 27-hole Eco Link Golf Course supported by a number of three-to five-star hotels. After that, PJH will build commercial, residential, retail and wellness centre in the city.
The first phase of the project will take off in the third quarter of 2018.

Went to Damansara City last week. Hotel Sofitel is opened. Hong Leong Bank is occupying all the space of one tower. Guocoland is occupying part of the other smaller building. More than 65% of DC Mall has been occupied

There are two sections in the ongoing reclamation. The island section and the seaside section. The island section is owned by E&O. The seaside section will be owned by Penang government. Therefore, the island reclamation is more important to us. Has the reclamation for island section completed? It was already at advanced stage a few months ago. I know that the seaside section has a long way to go.

he Cyberjaya land is the best residential land you can find in whole Cyberjaya. It is even more beautiful and valuable than Paramount's existing development, Sejati Residences. The new land is overlooking a 40 acre man made lake and it is the only development with such a big and beautiful man made lake.
