In my earlier post I asked why Connect & now there is doubt. If there is an RTO by S5 , Connect is ideal cos Liquidity is the key. Big base, low share price, potential additional cash to come in via PA conversion. No complications in the balance sheet as someone mentioned it’s a ideal shell company but with a twist.

Without the news coming out in focus magazine, it's a best kept secret. I only knew about it then.
Jb & another knew much earlier but nothing can be finanalise until the immigration project confirmed awarded. Myeg hedged its bet. If S5 gets it's in its best interest to do a RTO as its valuation will be on mkt P/E rather then a deep discounted unlisted share P/E. Nobody benefits.

Why Connect, why not another with smaller share base? It's share base is 900+m after consider conversion. The public have already sold all its holding , now insiders hold the majority. If this is true then deal is imminent. S5 will have to inject its 100% capital into Connect (we assume) & take shares cos there is no cash available. Myeg provided cash liquidity by taking a 10% stake with a sell back provision(if deal get screwed).

My take is that if this whole deal gets done, the valuation could be between 80 Sen to 1.50 based on the enlarged share capital of approx 3b shares

Jb thanks for your social services as u may indeed have helped lots of people. Hope they help others in their own way. I'm a late entrant but will buy tomorrow with my small budget with an exit price of 25 Sen as I have to preserve my small capital .

Volatility is where money is to be made especially on good stocks as the share price will eventually go back up to your purchase price . On highly speculative shares the risk is too great as you might lose your capital or lose opportunity cost hence weigh it against risk & reward . This share has not appreciated 100% or more from its lows unlike most other shares so there is good opportunities for a breakout.

Those who got no faith in this share pls no need to comment if don’t have.
Shares are rallying up, even rubbish n no value shares also. If you think this share no good no need to buy & frighten people. If you frighten don’t play share market. People want to make money but some people scaring people. Just go away & F off

Got lucky bought today at average 3.225 hopefully can make 50 Sen if not cut loss at 3.20

Actually all already bought at high price with no cut loss strategy. Most are holding between 4-8 after averaging. Average long term investor cost is min of 6 ringgit.

Take that away & its Operational Loss

NEXT QR should be better to reflect reduction of finance charges but its 3 months away

Guys, the point I'm making is ........almost all of us lose money in the stock market over time. In order to stay ahead of the game........u must have a plan, learn from mistakes, don't have ego, accept that we are not always champions, there are people better than us etc

Best way is get info from insiders, people like OTB, KYY etc or alternative the other best way is use your charts on fundalmental good stocks, stocks with themes for the future etc.

Have a plan & modify it if it warrants cos businesses are constantly evolving & the most important of all is preserve your capital

Let me tell you a little bit of my experience in the stock mkt which has been a very long time.
The 80:20 rule applies. 80%of mkt players lose money. That leaves 20% . Half are institutional investors that make. Hence balance is 10%. Of which half are syndicates, balance 5%.
From this 5%, half are insiders, friends & relatives. Balance 2.5% of which made up of stockists, day traders, Chartists, fundamentalists , lucky punters , those who pray to God etc.

If u have it at high prices, just pray or cut loss when u can stomach the pain.
Now it's time to play at low prices cos all the limit up/down story/pain over.
Time to make money from the syndicates/stockists at these low prices. Yes it may go lower but look at the bright side.......it can't limit down any more .

It’s a very volatile fundamental good stock easily manipulated by syndicates.you need nerves of steel to play this game. Don’t believe next qtr results will be bad. It’s rumours to force retailers to cut losses. I think 120-1.25 will be worst case scenario before massive rebound. Operators cannot press down too low as buyers will swarm in to collect. When you feel the worst then rebound is eminent

Stupidity has its limits also with baseless comments like impairment. That’s over when times were bad.
