Don't worry abt EPF.......their selling is insignificant when there is huge vol . But look at TM price now, it's much higher. U only worry if the owner starts selling, rest selling is inducing the retailers to sell low & buy high. Don't fall for this trap, it's now at low price, if u sell now, then your view is that it's going bust, then go ahead, its your own view that matters. Difference is that Armada has huge confirmed order book
So if push come to shove.......Armada can get a white knight or sell its business as a going concern at a better price than current mkt price.
High gearing companies usually fail at a down turn if they can't secure contracts, very poor cash flow, or low order book etc.
Armada just have a mismatch on borrowings on long term contracts.
Just wait wait for 2 months for the dust to settle down

There is no bursa disclosure of EPF buying buying at at 15-20 sen. they bought before the crash at high & very high prices.
EPF has a habit of buying high & selling low. Nothing new as they have plenty to spare

Well, I thought EPF invests directly plus outsources some of its funds to outside managers to invest at their own discretion. Sometimes I noticed EPF buys & sells on the same day but do not disclose the price. Can be considered as manipulation but because they use many fund managers who do not communicate with each other, they are exempted.

At this point, the only positive news that can come from Armada CEO is a clear denial that the company is in distress by stating that the have enough internal funds & more than sufficient loan facilities to pay off the US320m but they choose to refinance instead as its more prudent thereby refuting The Edge articles. This statement must come out soon.

In a downturn, without major funds support, all shares will tank. It will come down to a level where investors will view as good value like Umwog, then a base will be formed. If the mgt is bad then it will drop much further down like apft .
So it's not that bad as what u think as the mkt has shown. Most 3rd liners have collapsed, if M3 drops to 5 sen then I think u are right. So far not yet.
I'm comfortable at this price for a 1 mth plus hold until next qtr results

Based on the notes to the accounts, mgt is very optimistic of it's business plans . Next qtr profit will be much better perhaps triple from its last qtr subject to exchange rate volatility.
I wonder if anyone care to comment on the credibility of the current mgt?

Let me tell u abt stupid EPF disposals. I bought 20k shares of Shell at 2.70. Everyday EPF sell until I also frighten. I
My cut loss was 10% down but since it was Shell, I change it to 20% . EPF keep throwing until I was forced to exit. Imagine EPF sold so cheap but look at the high Shell went after that. EPF will sell cheap to insiders who will make the money.
I hope it will be the same for this company
