Recently SG government rolls out quite a number of big projects. Gamuda recently also is awarded the new MRT lines in SG. AYS increases the inventory in order to cope with the pent up demand in near future. No inventory pile up how to boost sales? I have been working in inventory control supply chain line for years. This is a 101 basics lah. You can't say that inventory increases and thus turnover is low (mean no one wants its products). In anticipation for higher demand in near future, the inventory needs to pile up first to get everything ready.

Those who said that AYS does not perfomr well, I doubt if your brain is functioning well.

No point to keep shouting price up or down here. You would have been better go to casino to buy bing or small, banker or player. I cannot understand the logics why someone sold shares from 0.70 to 0.65 as iwe have been waiting for the very last second this week for the handsome quarterly report.

Price increase alone holding reduced quantity of sales already lead to handsome profit. What if everything back to normal, the pent up demand will further boost the the quantity and thus much higher revenue. There will be no lockdown anymore. China keeps locking down and avoids dumping of cheap steels (by the way, also it’s commitment to reduction of steel production and also restriction of electricity usage will further inhibit the output of cheap steel, in fact it is a structural change of the industry)

If AYS announces 3rd interim dividend, it is definitely a very good sign. Consumers industry already exceeds pre-COVID level. Industrial products will be the segment which follows.

The fundamental of AYS is pretty much promising. It is a no brainer investment. The only concern is it is a family business firmly controlled by family. It’s SG business wing is a growth engine in future.
