Thanks for replying upsidedown. U r right. No FA will justify a buy call on Hovid. It is simply market expectation. Even TA can't help? I have ridden the 1st wave and thinking of getting back in. Will do it slowly...............

TTM Ebit = 267mil. This results in current EY 20.5%. It can easily acheive EY >12% regardless how the comming quarter results look like.

Horsefield. Good sharing especially the option calculator. May I ask how to calculate the historical volatility of underlying share? How to relate historical volatility of underlying share to implied volatility of warrant? Thanks.

Wrong! It's land bank plus investment in property hit 1bil mark, or 2.7per share (2.54per share when fully diluted). At current price, we pay < 60sen per share for the on going operations, the recurring operations like rental exclusive.

Agree with fortunebullz. It is wise to unload a portion when share price has appreciated so much in short time. If u did that u can reload again now. Our friend fortunebullz is promoting Instacom everywhere now. I would like to promote KSL & Hevea.

We can't say anything until the next quarter report is published. Hopefully someone will update the FA then.

How far can the son go? It is all depends how far the mother can go. Say if u r so optimistic that the mother can reach 3.50. Subtract the exercise price 1.60 from 3.50 u get the IV of WA, that is 1.90. KSL WA is 3yrs away from maturity date. So, is it fair to give it some time value, like 15%? Up its IV 15% u get 2.185. Agree?

U r right. It is risky to play with fire but if u make use of it wisely, it could be the best thing u ever had.

KLS WA almost in the money. Very good deal compared to a month back it's premium was 15%. I think P/ project value is a more meaningful ratio for property developers.

It is future expectation that drives people investing in this stock. Just like Data Sonic & Preastariang.

I think the above mentioned stocks are no longer candidates for Graham Net2 since prices have rise significantly. Since they are not good earner nor Graham's Net2 candidates, is that means they are not worth investing?

Normally Wa movement is more agressive than mother share. Therefore, the earlier senario is more likely. Meaning that opportuniy to buy Wa appears during time of correction.
2014-07-27 21:29 | Report Abuse
Yes. Moving in opposite direction is a bit strange, though it could happen in short interval. Let me say it again. It can be acheived when Wa falls faster than mother share or mother share rises faster than Wa.
2014-07-27 21:00 | Report Abuse
Wa is definitely a better choice. Gearing ratio (mother share price / Wa price) is the measure of attrativeness of Wa. Any no. > 1.6 makes Wa attractive. Current gearing is 1.25. So, wait for the price gap before buying Wa. It can be acheived either wa falls or mother share rises or both move in opposite direction.
2014-07-27 19:46 | Report Abuse
From the price movement, Wa rises 2x plus when mother share rises 1x. Since Wa maturity date is 4yrs away, switching Wa to mother share might not be a good idea now.
2014-07-27 19:42 | Report Abuse
Em... Wa is overpriced currently but the market will readjust the price difference of Wa & mother share. Wa might fall a little in the adjustment but eventually will rise higher following rise in mother share. If u sold Wa then u will miss the opportunity of higher return. So, the best thing to do is to do nothing.

This doji thing is really no bullshit. Today really correction.
2014-07-23 15:03 | Report Abuse
It is not that WA isn't worth buying. People pay a premium on WA because the mother share is bullish. People are optimistic and they think mother share price will eventually justify the premium that they pay. Hovid WA maturity date is 4yrs from now. Meaning that even they pay a premium now, the mother share still have plenty of time to rise to the desire prices.

Yes, Upsidedown. I also like to see the final audited report because there are plenty of fair value gain in property in it's earning.
