At Rm1.92 the earning yeild of PJDev is 18.7%.

PJDev becomes the better choice since KSL has raised quite a lot.

@Vitac. It is true that PJDev has extraordinary gain of 121.34mil in the lastest quarter report. This includes disposal gain, interest on receivable, reversal of impairment ect. I excluded the extraordinary gains & the result is still V.G. The following are operating profit of core business excluding any extraordinary gains:

2012: 47.6mil
2013: 69.2mil
TTM: 144mil

So, there is no problem with this counter.

The implied volatility of warrant is 42%, much lower than historical volatility of underlying share, meaning there is plenty of room for warrant price movement.

tsy88. I m trying to pick up what u said. In the cases MMode, I draw a rectagular box enclosing the candles in horizontal trading pattern. The resistance is the 0.725 & support is 0.64. Now I m waiting for stage 2 or 3 to happen. If stage 2 happens & break 0.725 then Hallelujah....... If stage 3 happen & breaks 0.64 means sayonara. Am I right? If I m right what does distribution means? By the way, picking the 1st candle is a tough call. I wouldn't have enclosed the red candle indicating 0.725 resistance if I haven't read Profitman's comment.

We r always here defending our gem. If it is dirt, it has had broken the resistance 0.65 & continued dropping further. Take a look at the volume. Do u see any heavy selling? I suspect some private funds are suppressing the price & collecting prior to announcement of god news.

I think some speculators are actively trading in the rage of 0.66 - 0.68. I just wonder how much they can make in this tiny range, just 3%. The implied volatility of warrant is 62.5%, which is slightly higher than the underlying share. There won't be too much excitement with warrant unless the underlying share's volatility increases, which is not very likely since 61% is already very high. At the moment, mother share is a better investment.

Valuation base on financial statements is looking at rear view mirror. Those who manage to look through the w/screen have advantages. In this case, stkoay is the big winner!

stkoay. Can u comfirm the above statement? If those land r bought long ago their title might not be residential. If they are land held for development then there is no point to convert (Cost moey to convert. Cost money to revalue. Fair value gain also incur higher tax). Unless there are projects being planned for the near future.

The question is whether KSL is going to revalue their asset and get it publised in the next quarter report or not. That is the only stimulus we hope for. If it is only based on earning there won't be too much supprise since the share price has appreciated so much.

Then u have to ask how they arrived with the no. Base on earning or base on assets? If base on earning what projection do they used? If base on asset which valuation report do thwey uses?
