I thing the jerking is due to TNB results shock. Technically if you draw a uptrend channel for KLCI index, you may find KLCI reaching the ceiling of the channel. Yesterday close states a breakout of channel but if today close below the ceiling than the market may proceed with a correction as RSI is very high now

Reading RJ87 post, It seems that Lay Hong poultry products sale increase but eggs sales drop. If you see CAB as pure poultry and poultry product producer which share price is advancing before 1st Q results release, may be there is a hint. however, I wound not recommend to buy CAB now, because best enter price may be before 0.75

Don't worry. Genting will post best quarter results Q1 2024 in May. Genting Singapore already recognized impairments in Q4 2023 thus increased profit can be seen in Q12024 as increased visa free tourist number. Share price will be well supported at 4.75. Don't take Taurx seriously at this moment

Genting results 4Q 2023 is expected slightly better or equivalent than 3Q. Personal view explosive results is only expected in 1Q 2024...........

Foreign funds are buying, local institutional funds are selling, strategically. Therefore, when hot money leaving, we have fund to support the market to prevent crashing.

The Consumer index covering weakest sector in Bursa has broken out from 564 last week and the break out has been confirmed today. As it is new break out, future index is expected to extend the most (alongside with plantation index, energy index, industrial index which are laggards) compare with other indexes in near term. Genting today is considered 1st day above 4.90 if close above 4.90, will monitor if can stay 3 day convincingly above 4.90, purely from technical point of view. We should monitor US treasury yield curve if any huge pulling back from US market especially after Nasdaq index breaking new high.

Pulled back add a bit at 4.90. It takes Genting almost 2 months to stir the weak holders, collecting and distributing shares below 4.90 as too many shares of this holding company. Finally it is done, ready for post CNY for KLCI 1530.

Technically Genting break out from 4.90 resistance and need to stay at least 3 daya above 4.90 to confirm the break out. Consumer index seems having a breakout above 564. The trends should be able to maintain as long as US market doesn't crash as SnP is very near to 5000

4.90 is a ceiling of Genting downtrend channel since Nov 2019! If you draw a line from peaks of Genting share prices since Nov 2019, you will reach today 4.90. Breaking out from 4.90 and no return means a lot for Genting share price after that. As Genting already tried twice but failed to break out from 4.90 this quarter, it is highly possible that having 3rd time successful break out especially after CNY before results released. Best is
inching up slowly to break this stubborn 4.90 resistance. Therefore any pull back these few days is a good accumulation period with the conditions that US market and USD/MYR still stable.
