rarely got famous household brand trading below NTA, investors like to value these names and eventually give premium price above NTA once EPS growth stabilized. keep on monitoring their business and next QR. unless prospect changes I will not hesitant to top up if price falls to certain levels

topped up a few more at 0.425. didn't entered much yesterday as was busy to react with QR report also didn't follow this counter previously. after fully reading the report realising the increase of profit also come from food manufacturing and improved EPS is likely to be sustainable in some extend. hardly back to the old 0.60 sen per quarter level. nutriplus is a strong competitive brand in frozen food sector. they did mention they bought the remaning 51% share of nutriplus so they now have full control and also all the revenue and profit from nutriplus will be recognised under this counter LAYHONG

let's say future EPS stabilized at 2 EPS per quarter. that's give us a well known established grocery business at PE 5 and good NTA discount if price remains at current 0.4 level by that time

last year the same QR (27 feb 2023) EPS only 4.35, price can rally till 0.84. this year 8.09 EPS can reach 0.835 only? face palm, hopefully good show later

recent support (before this QR announced) at 0.73 to 0.76 level, myself consider this as worst case scenario ground in case of serious profit taking

admit my mistake (got caught by 1 off good QR) and defeat here, gave up, sold at open, thanks for whoever still willing to buy at 0.755, good deal

@Macrullen agreed lol what a funny statement by Eric. you don't ask what your boss did to the company to deserve the company's profit. we minor shareholder own the minor piece of the company and we own the minor piece of the profit. there is no such thing as we deverse it or not because it is technically our own thing.

this QR is mei mei, cantik cantik, pretty pretty

plus this company also own's valueble brand of nutriplus which also consist of other frozen food products, some increase in profitability also come from this sector of "food manufacturing"

not purely due to gov subsidy, cheaper costs also, some more if gov stop giving subsidy it is not nescessary bad thing, that's mean price can start to increase also. people want or don't want also must buy egg. at the end only absorbed by inflation again, but the company profitability may remains

good QR, cement sector doing good profit. QR will be even more superb if phosphate sector aslo start making profit.

btw notice some biased comments of QR by certain news reporter by comparing this year full year result with last year result, it is not proper comparison because last year result involved major one off gain. this year is doing very fine overrally at PE 9 (still less than 10). very good PE for established company with 1B market cap like this

I heard the boss of this company privatized his other bursa listing company before, a property one, then incoorperate into this stock, wonder if he intend to privatize this one as well as business getting very good

by the way, only first 2 days here I can actually feel the heavy manipulation already, mind game somemore lol what to do la, as retailers only that much we can do, buy the best fundamental stock and wait. hope for price up or jackpot privatization

let's say the company is actually worth more than 0.57. then why don't the owner (super tycoon) just privatize the company with his own money? instead of doing buy back with the company's left over cash? company current asset's is less than total liabilities from what I checked. won't that act put the company into a much difficult situation with increased debt?
