I recall General Raider leading his army and charge thro’ the enemy lines one by one but alas General Raider took too many bullets himself (especially back stabbing from the China owner) and had to be evacuated to Tibet for recuperation. He was given a second chance to come back as Tibet Monk to continue his mission of Peace, Love and Profit.

So General Raider why wasting your time in Next when you should be leading the charge in Lctitan, the petrochemical spread is looking very good and promising

Below was what Tony say last time.

Capital A seeks extension of time to submit a finalised PN17 regularisation plan
November 29, 2022 Nur Alya Zulaikha Khairon Anuar -
KUALA LUMPUR, 29 November 2022 - Capital A Berhad (formerly known as AirAsia Group Berhad) (“Capital A” or “Group”) has announced that it is seeking an extension of time from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad to submit a holistic regularisation plan to remedy its Practice Note 17 (“PN17”) status. The Group expects to announce the finalised regularisation plan to Bursa Malaysia Securities in January 2023 and followed by submission for approval targeted in February 2023.

This follows Capital A’s recent announcement that it is engaging RHB Investment Bank Bhd, BDO Consulting Sdn Bhd, Deloitte Corporate Advisory Services Sdn Bhd, Ernst & Young PLT, Adnan Sundra & Low, and Providence Strategic Partners to advise on its regularisation plan.

Chief Executive Officer of Capital A Tony Fernandes said, “We were at the sharp end of Covid, as were many airlines around the world, but we are coming out of it stronger than before – our airlines and network are fast returning to pre-pandemic levels, and our digital businesses are performing better than many had expected. While our PN17 status remains an accounting issue and does not accurately reflect the business viability and prospects of Capital A, we have nevertheless worked very hard to develop a plan to address the PN17 status as a key part of our post-pandemic recovery journey.”

He added, “We are grateful for the tremendous support and understanding so far from our lessors, partners, customers, staff and other stakeholders, who enabled us to survive this far and turn this crisis into an opportunity. Together with our partners, financial and legal advisors, we are finalising a scheme, subject to regulatory and other necessary approvals, that we anticipate will not only uplift us from the PN17 status, but also unlock enormous value for the shareholders of Capital A, and ultimately, lead us to a healthier financial standing and profitability.”

He explained, “The scheme will not involve shareholders’ value dilution. In essence, the scheme will result in a clear separation between Capital A’s three main portfolios of businesses, namely the aviation group, the digital businesses and the logistics plus aviation services.

“The plan envisaged will entail the disposal of Capital A’s aviation businesses, namely AirAsia Berhad and AirAsia Aviation Group Limited, to AirAsia X Berhad (AAX). The shares consideration, received in exchange for the disposal, will then be distributed to Capital A shareholders, so that they will retain direct interest in the aviation businesses via AAX, following the restructuring. In essence, via this scheme, Capital A’s shareholders’ value will be preserved. Capital A will be rebranded as an aviation services and digital group, post the disposal and distribution exercises. We envision a separate spin-off listing in the future for the aviation services businesses of Capital A once the PN17 status is resolved.”

Capital A expects to complete the implementation of the regularisation plan by July 2023, subject to necessary approvals including from our board of directors, shareholders and RCUIDS holders, Bursa Malaysia Securities and other relevant authorities.

A very bad Jan to March 2023 quarter result is coming.

Based on historical data, PCG’s share price moves in correlation with crude oil prices and prices
of selected chemical products.

PCG’s share price reached a high of RM10.40 in second quarter of 2022, when crude oil was
averaging at USD112 per barrel and prices, for example, of urea was above USD700 per metric
tonne. As of 31 March 2023, crude oil prices have declined by 27%, urea prices came down by
50%, while other chemicals declined between 10% to 35%.

We are of the opinion that the share price has declined due to analysts’ assessment that the
Company’s performance in 2023 will be lower compared to 2022 due to lower GDP growth
forecast and inflationary pressures on costs.

Please stay tuned on "Sources told The Edge that Capital A has called for an analyst briefing on April 27, a day prior to the current deadline, to give an update on the group’s development"

KUALA LUMPUR (April 12): AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) has once again applied to Bursa Securities for more time to submit its regularisation plan by extending its April 28 deadline to July 28.

The low cost carrier, however, did not reveal the reason that it could not manage to meet the extended dealine. The original deadline was in October last year. AAX was granted a six-month extension.

The regularisation plan is crucial as it is supposed to lift not just AAX, but also its sister company Capital A Bhd — which operates short-haul, low-cost airline AirAsia — out of Practice Note 17 (PN17) status. It is widely expected that the regularisation plan involves Capital A injecting its aviation business into AAX via an issuance of shares.

Sources told The Edge that Capital A has called for an analyst briefing on April 27, a day prior to the current deadline, to give an update on the group’s development.

Other airlines’ flights contribute a small percentage of our platform’s revenue and to date, we have sold 1.72 million seats from more than 700 airlines that are available on our channel. As any accredited OTA in the market, we will continue to sell flights from any airlines, including those we do not have direct relationships with through our established partner aggregators and consolidators.

“We wish to put on record that the Malaysia Airlines flight tickets displayed on the airasia SuperApp were taken from inventories supplied by our established partner aggregators, and the flight fares and fare class (Economy or Business) information is supplied directly by our partner aggregators without any intervention from airasia SuperApp. The same fare information was also displayed in other OTA platforms.

“We would like to clarify that the legal action Malaysia Airlines has taken against us is premised on allegations of potential trademark infringement and passing off, and unrelated to the supply of inventory. We continue to call on MAS and other airlines to partner directly with the airasia SuperApp to achieve better efficiency and performance, and will be happy to move our conversation forward on working together to offer Malaysians the best value when it comes to travel, and win together.”

The airasia SuperApp which has become the fastest growing travel platform in Asean is also the first travel superapp in Malaysia with a vested interest to promote tourism and bring tourists into the region, on top of contributing significantly to the recovery of the travel and tourism industries in Malaysia and the region, post-COVID.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry Monday stressed it is irresponsible to describe opposing the secession of "Taiwan independence" as changing the status quo in the Taiwan Straits when asked to comment on the recent Group of Seven (G7) remarks on the Taiwan question.

The G7 foreign ministers gathered on Sunday in the central Japanese resort town of Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture. The meeting agreed that G7 countries were opposed to any unilateral attempts to change the status quo of Taiwan Straits by force and reaffirmed the importance of peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits.

In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin noted: "If you are really concerned about the situation in the Taiwan Straits, you should first find out where the root cause of the tension in the Taiwan Strait lies."

The facts have shown that the "Taiwan independence" force on the island, with the connivance and support of external forces, are doing whatever they can to promote secessionist activities, which is destroying the status quo in the Taiwan Straits and is the root cause of tensions in the Taiwan Straits, Wang said.

Unequivocally upholding the one-China principle and rejecting "Taiwan independence" is a must in safeguarding stability in the Taiwan Straits and regional peace and tranquility, he added.

The spokesperson pointed out some said it supports the one-China policy but in action it was turning a blind eye to the separatist activities of "Taiwan independence" forces, condoning and supporting them, both overtly and covertly.

"This is deviating from, rather than practicing the one-China policy, and is undermining rather than maintaining peace and stability in the Taiwan Straits," he added and called such acts irresponsible.

Wang reiterated that there is but one China in the world, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China and the government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China, adding this is the core essence of the one-China principle and the key to maintaining peace and stability in the Taiwan Straits.

The countries concerned should realize that the Taiwan question is an internal affair of China that does not allow any external interference, he noted.

In terms of the true status quo in the Taiwan Straits, Wang said although the two sides of the Taiwan Straits have not yet been reunified, the fact that both the mainland and Taiwan belong to one and the same China has never changed and neither China's national sovereignty nor its territorial integrity has ever been divided.

Wang also said Taiwan's return to China is an important part of the post-WWII international order and called for safeguarding international order formed after World War II.
